I have been a widow for a little over two years. Having been married most of my adult life, life is strange and different. I moved to be near my grown kids. It was pre-Covid, and that is the wrong time to move to a new place! My new church is important to me, but is very small and lacks much in the way of getting to know many people.
I am... educated, funny, in love with life (except when it's too dang lonely), and really dedicated to my walk with the Lord. That's why I got on this site. I hope its legit and there are others who feel as I do.
What would be perfect to me is someone to talk to about my day, my interests, and then go out and have fun together. For me, fun is not about where I am but who I am with. Attitude is everything to me.
I have come through some difficult times these last two years, but find that knowing Jesus as I do, and staying in Him, he gives me so much peace. Still, like I said, it's been lonely and I think it's time to start dating.
