- I’ve recently become a empty nester and realizing that being alone is not all that fun. I love to travel specially to the mountains and I’d love someone share the view with me. Also, recently began taking better care of myself and started a journey of healthy eating and activities. I’ve discovered I really want to research recipes and cook and try to find healthy ways of making my favorite meals. After Covid it was hard for me to get back in the swing with going to church but I have been going with my daughter to second chance in Anderson. The music is wonderful and the preaching is even better. I always leave feeling closer to the Lord and savIor Jesus Christ. Of course I’m not perfect in my Christian walk but I wake up every day and try to do my best. One of my favorite sayings is “I love Jesus but I curse a little.” I am the grandmother to three grand children and the mother to two daughters. My family is my most precious treasure. I love to laugh and I kind of have a sick sense of humor sometimes. I’m a child of the 80s so of course that’s my favorite music but I love country too and classic rock never gets old.
