My faith is very important to me, yet like everyone else, I struggle with it daily. I have been a Christian since November 12, 2001....I still remember the day!!! I have had to learn how to walk with Jesus and recently He has shown me a lot about humility. I have to keep reminding myself that He is in control, and I am not. I did not have the easiest childhood and am dealing with issues that have just recently been revealed to me. Busy working on putting the pieces back together so that I can move on. I know that He loves me and it took me a while to understand that I don't have to earn it, can't earn it and that He loves me because I am His.
Going to be honest here. I am a huge homebody. I would rather stick around the house and tackle some projects that I need done around the house. Not saying that I don't like to enjoy other activities, but I find that as I age, it just isn't as easy to participate in some of it. I live on the water, so being outside in the summer is one of my favorite ways to spend the day. I am easily entertained and happy without having all the material things in life.
I have worked in the medical field most of my life. I started out in surgery and really miss my days in the OR, but felt it was time for a career change, so I went back to school and obtained my third degree. I have worked from home for the last 6 years as a remote medical coder. I love it! How many can say they work in their pajamas with no makeup and messy hair? I am blessed to have such a great job.
I have lived in Michigan my entire life. Although I am no longer in the area, I grew up near Lansing and naturally I am a huge Michigan State fan. Although I enjoy Pro sports, I prefer college ball. My family had season tickets from the time I was 7, so I attended a ton of home football games, some basketball and several bowl games and NCAA tournaments. I knew the MSU fight song before the National Anthem! What can I say, I bleed GREEN!!!
