Just one thing: I won't probably react to winks or ultrashort messages (like "hi", "hello" or just "how are you"). I have a hard time engaging in a meaningful conversation from there.

Let's put some important stuff first: having grown with pretty little Christian background, Jesus got me when I was 17. Quite a bit of a change (not to everyone's preference) and work in progress since. Rom12,2 is required time and again and I am fascinated by that (passive imperative) directive: be transformed!
I love things well thought-out and I love encouraging and supporting others to achieve. Nevertheless, I also like to improvise in areas where I have some intuition.
Likewise, I love 'good' improvized music and I sometimes wish I could do that better than I actually can. This said I do enjoy making music & play a couple instruments at a level which has people usually enjoy what they hear and feel when they (have to :-) listen in worship sessions, which is currently the larger part of my involvement in 'church activities'.
I like the unexpected in sound, rhythm and melody and enjoy listening to varieties of music across cultures and centuries, media and concert halls alike. I am less acquainted with what's current on the radio or audio streaming services, though...
While I like watching movies I don't own a TV - I would spend way too much time there had I one :-)
Sports? Cycling is my favorite by far, but I've become a bit lazy, lately. I like swimming, & hiking is also on the cards, preferably at locations that please the eye. (Could also be at an exhibition, at times :-)
I also like good food, going out or DIY. Really discovered cooking in the last years, one of our favorite common activities when together with my (grown) kids. Lots of fun together, also with friends. (aah, I live in a wine growing area - so wine tasting is also an occasional activity with friends)
I love to *do* things together. I like exchange and discussions, but I'm not terribly good at small talk. Usually prefer 1 on 1 situations or small groups over larger ones for conversation.
Btw, besides German, I am fluent in both English and French (10+ yrs in french speaking environment). Admittedly, I imagine deep personal communication can be a challenge (it is, at times, in German) but probably 'just' a matter of exercise - besides willingness 
.
What I'd like to live? Two lives that could have been lived 'well' independently from one another, interwoven into a new threefold cord of life in abundance. (You know these scriptures, I guess.)

I like science, physics in particular, and have made that my profession. 25+yrs in academia, a moment or two of crisis and now active in industry, doing all kinds of problem solving with design, testing & using cameras in automotive context.
