Looking for a low drama friendship and relationship that should lead to greater things like a long term relationahip/marriage. Looking for a woman who has some complimentary traits that I would like to think I possess. Someone who has a heart to treat others like they want to be treated. Someone who tries to be good toward all people if possible. Someone who avoids being shallow in evaluating all things and is more likely to get past appearances and see things for what they truly are. I think emotional maturity is a great trait to develop and look for in others.
I love all races but but have decided I want to marry within my own race/nation/culture. (I do have a mixed 23 yr. old daughter who is a great kid). I say this because I want to be up front and not waste anyones time.
Also, at 53 (as of summer of 2021) I know it is on the late side of life for it but I would like to have more children so I need to prioritize finding a wife who wants children (not adoptions). If that does not work out I would be open to marriage with no children...

Below is a list of TRAITS you will find in me and that I am also looking for in a woman. This should eliminate quite a bit of wasted time. If you think any of these things don't apply to you just please realize we are most likely not meant to be together:
-can publically identify as a Christian, is serious about their relationship with God and their integrity
-tries to avoid negative extremes
-is focused on the goal of building a permanent relationship based on God, love, truth, and commitment in that order
-does not think marriage is the only thing people should spend time on
-works some to excel but realizes that no one is perfect and will work with an imperfect person
-is not confused, offended, or simply rejecting, or is at war with REALITY about gender differences, roles, or gender identity (hint: consult the bible or God AND don't belive the popular hype)
-is not uncomfortable with others who have a natural, God given sex drive within the confines of marriage
-one whose religion/Christianity does not involve an ungodlly, cult like commitment to, or revolve mainly around a person or group (i.e. that's their "god")
-one who understands its: God, family, church, self and not self, church, family, God
-realizes that a paper (from a courthouse that is normally run by malefactors) does not indicate or validate a real "marriage"
-is not looking for someone who makes over 40,000 a year too mooch off of or anyone to mooch off of period
-does not smoke (sorry but I don't want to be on suicide watch for you, get well soon...)
-does not drink more that 6 drinks a month or so? Hard to put a number on this, less is better I am non-drinker but I don't freak out if someone has a couple of drinks from time to time.) I don't see alcohol as having really been any real lasting worthwhile help to anyones life.
-is ready to stand alone with God if necessary
-is a lover and a fighter if necessary (you don't have to be a big time fighter)
-has references (you can use God but be careful with that one)
-believes in self defense (non-negotiable).
-is generally positive but not naive or gullible
-is sensitive, kind, and caring about others
