I'm a Christian, a geek, and a hopeless romantic. I work full time and own my own house; I have no credit card debt or student loans. I'm the only son of four children, so I've always gotten along well with women (and most people, to be honest). I like to describe myself as a cross between a sixty-year-old Presbyterian college professor and a really cool thirteen-year-old girl. It's better than it sounds.
I'm trying my hand as a writer. My older sister and I are working on an epic fantasy (starting with "The Worldwatcher" on Kindle Vella) and I've got a couple science fiction stories in the works. I have a blog (think-truth.com) and an Instagram account (richard.w.grant) to promote myself. (I don't really like social media, it's just a means to an end. 🙄) I can talk about stories all day long, so it would be nice to find someone fun and imaginative or even artistic who can relate to this. Oh, I can also draw, for what it's worth.
I'm looking for a wife. If you don't want to talk about marriage and family or serving God together, come back when you grow up. I'm not worried about age, just maturity and character (which seem to be in short supply). I want to share my life with someone and build a new one, start a family, travel and experience the world, learn and study God's word, and maybe take part in a few good causes. Someone with a big heart, an inquisitive (and reasonably open) mind, a good sense of humor, and class. Someone with integrity, who acts like a lady in public and a goofball at home. Someone who encourages me to be a better person and wants the same for herself. Someone who looks at a guy for who he is and not what he does for fun; who will have my back and worry about me when she doesn't know where I am; who doesn't ask me to give her the world, but whose character and compassion make me want to.
