I enjoy people, and even in retirement I work with people on a regular basis with my ministry.
I seem to stand out in a crowd and have natural leadership qualities, but at the same time, I am very soft-hearted and considerate of others.There are times when I need to "check out", and just be still, rest and re-fuel spiritually, and then I'm back at it again.
people who've known me for a long time, are frequently commenting on how my life pattern seems to be one of making lemonade out of lemons! What I mean by that is (an example) when I was diagnosed with celiac, many years ago, and I found that many doctors didn't know much about it, I determined to learn more, then get the information out there to more people.
Solution? Building a website, writing a blog, and also a gluten-free cookbook. I'm a helper, a problem solver, and a natural entrepreneur as well.
After my loss, I see life as a gift, and something that needs to be lived fully and also with purpose. of course it would be great to find someone to spend the rest of my life with, and that process would begin naturally with solid friendship first!
