- Like my parents, I also visited the Lutheran Church. I learned a lot of good things there. I had to memorize Bible sayings and Christian songs. As a child, I thought a lot about heaven and hell. But I had no inner certainty of belief. When I was 15 I was able to attend a Christian camp. There I heard what was missing: I needed a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. At the end of the camp, the leader helped me. He explained to me how I could get into this personal relationship. The Bible says: "How many took him (Jesus) into their lives, he gave them the opportunity to become God's children". (John 1,12).Then I said to Jesus Christ: "Jesus, I believe that you love me. I know that I have sinned, in words, deeds, and thoughts. I thank you that you paid all my debt on the cross and died for me. Please come into my life and change." Then I received inner peace and certainty of forgiveness. Later, at around 20, I attended a Bible school to study God's Word. At some point I became in another church for about 20 years long Bible teacher. Since my youth I have been motivated to serve the Lord. In the 1970s, I and others started an evangelistic ministry among school children. The Christian camps continue to this day. I spent almost seven years in Brazil and Argentina on various ministries. After returning from South America, my wife and I worked among refugees, truck drivers and made aid transports to Romania and Serbia. I have been without a spouse for several years now. I'm looking for friends for a meaningful exchange on questions of faith, the Bible and other questions. And maybe for even more. If you want to get to know me, I would be happy. In addition to English and German, I also speak Spanish.
