My name is Andrew. I was born in Idaho but grew up in Pennsylvania. Sometimes it’s the simplest things in life that make me happy... like a soothing, gentle breeze; puffy, cotton candy clouds in a big, blue sky; or the gorgeous Fall colors of walnut, maple and aspen trees... and when a gust of wind kicks up the autumn leaves into what looks like a whirlwind of potpourri. I also enjoy watching thunderstorms. There is nothing quite as captivating as the rumble of an approaching afternoon thunderstorm with the sound of the wind rushing through the trees and distant thick clouds of the sky illuminated with flashes of lightning. I find it very calming and enjoyable to just be still in moments like that and gaze at the sky with awe and wonder. I love the look of fresh snow on trees and the way it glistens in the morning sun, and the sense of renewed hope in April when the apple and cherry blossoms bloom with newness of life and lush greens begin to appear. I'm definitely a nature lover, and my favorite activities include hiking in the mountains and driving through national parks where wildlife abounds. I also love going to museums and amusement parks.
I’m easygoing, independent and responsible. I have a career that I enjoy, and I am financially stable. But I do live a rather modest life, and I make my humble abode in a second floor apartment. I’m more of a morning person. I enjoy quietness in the morning, drinking hot, black coffee and watching the sun rise while listening to birds chirp, pondering about life and spirituality, and daydreaming about love and romance. Most of the time I feel as though I am vastly different from other guys my age. I don't like staying up half the night; I also don’t watch much wrestling or football, and I don't play video games. Going to bars and clubs has never been appealing to me. I’m more of a homebody and have a habit of being reclusive. I live a very quiet life and like to just mind my own business. I am a very introverted guy, and when out in public I am reserved and quiet, yet very observant.
I can be pretty goofy, and my sense of humor is one of the most marked dimension to my personality once you get to know me; but it takes a little time for me to open up and just be myself. I’m honestly terrible at getting to know new people because social anxiety is always the first thing I feel; and because of that I tend to be socially awkward and clumsy at first.
I’m very enthusiastic about fitness and nutrition. Running sprints and lifting weights at the gym are how I like to blow off steam. I’m also kinda strict about what I eat. I avoid fast food, prepackaged and processed foods, and I prefer eating healthy, whole foods... especially organic foods. But I do enjoy a good cheat meal once a week, which usually means going to Chipotle or ordering pizza.
