I try to be kind & thoughtful & enjoy being with people who are also display those traits. I will help others when needed (like helping someone move, or paint their house). Church is very important to me & I like attending church with friend(s). I like to have my home neat & tidy - because that causes calmness, & appreciate others who are the same. Laughter & having fun is vital, I think
a lot helps people to be happier & live longer ;-). I live with my two cats, who are both very mellow (& they get along with my son's two standard size poodles when they visit! LOL)
I'm not a big fan of cooking, its not too exciting after doing that for 45 years ;-) My being allergic to cow-dairy & wheat isn't as hard to deal with as of 15 years ago. Now I've discovered goat milk & cheese & there plenty of Gluten Free breads available.
I'm a classically trained oil-painter & part of almost every day is working 1-2 hours on my oil painting(s). It's my lifelong hobby. I've painted backgrounds with acrylic paint on huge background flats for church for plays, & murals in kids rooms, etc. I've painted classical style oil painting for $$ and or for gifts. (I used to work on a computer as a graphic designer for 10-15 years then retired almost 4 years ago & am thrilled to be at my painting easel most everyday.)
I was incredibly, happily married for 32 years, and became a widow last year due to Covid striking my spouse down. That was super difficult & life changing but as time passes my life is starting to feel 'normal'. I'm trusting God to lead me into a wonderful and sweet relationship as some point.
