I'm a former police chief, disabled veteran (it just shows in that I need a knee brace and cane at present). I do not attend church as regularly as I should, but I'm working on it. Two Master's degrees and I used to manage a security academy at a college, as well as police instructor and college Criminal Justice faculty. Right now, I manage two ancestral farms for a historical non-profit. I'm conservative politically, but this should not be a factor in one I date. My prior life left me with a sometimes dry/sometimes macabre sense of humor (Hey, I was a cop in rural areas around the border- you just gotta laugh to remain sane!)
Honesty is paramount to me, so the lady should be honest and not afraid to be honest. She should be gentle and feminine, but playful. Yes, my profile says I'm looking for marriage, but at present, I can be okay with dates, since I'm taking my time and looking for the RIGHT lady.
