I always wanted to be someone’s wife, someone’s love, even someone’s change or help, the last one put me in a lot of trouble, cause I tend to take God's job, so even when the person is unworthy or broken, I always said I can change him, I will love him so much until I fix him, I want to be the reason he smiles, I want him one day to say "I'm a better person because of you" or "My life has changed when you stepped in", but those are God's job.
I realize all the stuff I've always asked for, are all the stuff I was willing to give, without the person asking, deserve, or want to sometimes. I would care as if I was his friend, I would take care of him as if I was his mom, I would love him as if I was his wife, not because the person deserves it but just because that's the way I am, just because that's what I have to offer, just because that's all I have inside of me.
Sometimes, I wonder is it the best way to be? I don't know, but one thing I know, life is short and difficult, there are ups and downs, and stresses. Relationship supposes to be a place where you can escape, a place to isolate, a place to comfort you when your world is falling apart.
I'm a woman with a heart full of gratitude for God's grace and mercy, I want to honor him, praise him and give him glory for the rest of my life. I pray that my future husband would want the same thing, and that he would be a Godly man, who loves God more than anything and everything, in the meantime I'll keep praying for him, till he finds me.
