Hello, everyone. I am new here and am not sure what I should be writing to make myself appear interesting. BTW, I am open to just finding some Christian friends to have fellowship/worship together. But here is a bit more about me. I am currently in Canada and hope to stay here, Lord willing.
I am a born-again believer, from a conservative background. Christ is my rock, and salvation. If you do not believe in him as if your life depends on it, then we might not be a good match.
I value modesty, a quiet spirit, and humility in a woman. No one is perfect, and we all fall short, but the spirit helps us grow and bear fruits.
I want to follow the word in all aspects of my life, be it giving, serving, spreading the gospel, or being a father (if it's the Lord's will for my life). I have an example set before me, i.e., Christ Jesus, and now I strive to be like him. Of course, I cannot do this in my own strength and rely on God to make me grow in Christlikeness.
I understand that there is no one church which is God's only church but all people who believe in Christ and have been born again are together called the church of the living God. But I have also found a place in this mortal world, which I can call my home church, where I find food for my spirit, joy of worship, comfort of fellowship, and accountability in my walk. And I enjoy this fellowship7b and as such plan to stay here for as long as possible. please feel free to ask any questions.
I think it is important that we understand each other, so I would prefer if you speak English. I am willing to learn a new language if God wants me to, but that will be something I don't think will happen right now.
Also, I don't believe in dating but am very open to biblical courtship. I also strongly believe in having a form of head covering during prayer and worship, as the Bible says so in 1 Corinthians. I am not interested in someone who is either separated or divorced (unless it was due to infidelity), as in my understanding of the scripture, they are still married to their partner.
I am not perfect and am not looking for someone who is either. I understand that everyone has a past, and so do I. I believe in extending the same grace that God extended to me when I was still a sinner. If I was forgiven by God and called a son when I repented, then so are you if you have done the same! :)
