I am honest and unpretentious, and probably at times a bit too transparent, but that's because I value true and genuine relationships on every level, friends, co-workers, church, community, as well as romantic.
I am active in my church, and I’m conservative and I place an extremely high value on truth. I mentor a fair number of men of all ages, and walks of life and political and theological points of view so I am also very tolerant and respectful of other points of view. I don't always do the "religious" thing perfectly (at least the way I was raised), but I value authenticity, and I have a very deep and meaningful relationship with Jesus Christ, and I love seeking wisdom, and studying and learning more about Him.
I have enjoyed the small farm that I have owned for the last 10 years, but I'm strongly considering selling the farm so I can spend less time doing farm work, and more time doing the OTHER things I enjoy.
I am an incredibly happy and joyous person who loves life, humor, people, and God! The best relationships grow naturally out of a strong friendship, so my desire is to focus in the beginning on building a strong friendship, in the hopes that it may lead to a relationship which I ultimately want, but I do not want to rush or force. I’m learning that there is joy in the journey, not just in the destination, and life is far too short to postpone joy!
I live my life for an audience of One, and this leads me to a strong desire to make a difference in the lives of others, and to see people overcome challenges, reject fear and bitterness, and become all that God has created them to be.
