I love being a woman and I definitely know my place in a man’s life. I had been a helpmeet to my husband of two decades before he passed on two years ago. He left me with two grown sons who have served as my able bodyguards and constant dates since.
I am introspective, but I don’t dwell on the what-ifs in life. I face my reality even if doing so tears my heart. I am fairly well-balanced now unlike before when I used to be a little bit OA and emotional over things. I guess it comes with age, lol!
I am generally a homebody though I intend to do some traveling in the next few years, possibly with my grown sons. I am now at a point in my life where patience, temperance, forgiveness and reconciliation matter more than self-serving ambitions and proving one’s self right.
I may be a midlifer, but I feel no more than a twenty-five year old in my heart. I’m still raring to be all that I can be for the Lord— to seek, know and serve him until he returns.
