Dear reader, If you died today, do you know where you will go when you die?
Well, if you don't know you are saved and going to heaven that probably means you are going to hell when you die, but I have good news for you! You can know with absolute certainty at the end of this little conversation that you are going to heaven when you die. Would you like to know how? —Well, isn't it true that you have heard in all your life that Jesus Christ paid for the sins of the whole world, my sins, your sins, the sins of all (past, present and future sins) on the cross? So if that's true, why should you and I go to hell to pay for sins if He already paid for them? I know, let me explain this beautiful truth to you, I only humbly ask you to please be patient.
The Bible declares that we are all sinners, “For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God” (Romans 3:23 KJV), honestly we are imperfect. but you might tell me that unlike the scandalous life and sins of a criminal, of a serial killer, of this or that person you are good person, moral person that perhaps has never done something as bad or serious as them, and that you are trying to follow the way of the Lord, but let me show you with sincerity what precious Jesus taught us about how imperfect we all are regardless of our lives and sins, it all starts in the thoughts and desires of our heart (our conscience), I John 3: 15 says"Whosoever hateth his brother is a murderer..." and Matthew 5:28 "But I say unto you, that whosoever looketh on a woman to lust after her hath committed adultery with her already in his heart", so you see, we do not need to put into action every single one of our thoughts and desires for them to become sins, Jesus taught us that sin, even sins that seem to be microscopic and insignificant are in essence sins. God declares it conclusively in Ecclesiastes 8:20 KJV "For there is not a just man upon earth, that doeth good, and sinneth not. Now, God loves us but hates our sin, and the payment for sin is death (Romans 6:23 KJV), which means eternal separation from God burning in hellfire, but God loves us and wants us to go to heaven, but to go to heaven you need to be perfect, sinless, but nobody is perfect, you and I are not, in fact not a single lie will be allowed in heaven (Revelation 21:27 KJV), so the God of the Bible says that none of us, none can pay the price to enter heaven regardless of how many "good works" we do to save ourselves, because even the best we have to offer Him are still filthy rags (Isaiah 64:6 KJV), and because we are still sinners from birth and the wages of sin is death, which means being separated from the Lord. We cannot earn our way to heaven.
The Bible says in Ephesians 2:8-9 KJV: "For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast."
So there is no amount of "good works" that you can do to earn eternal life, we need a savior and there is only one, so, Jesus Christ the Lord, God in the flesh came into this world because He loves us but He hates our sins, because our sin is what separates us from the Lord, so the payment for sin being death (in Christ's being sinless), Christ took all of my sins, all of your sins, all of the sins of the whole world (past, present and future sins) and paid for them on the cross. Now the Bible says that Christ was bodily raised from the dead on the third day (I Corinthians 15:1-4 KJV), that is, the payment for sin has been made! So what He wants you to do is the only thing you can do, and that is to "BELIEVE" that He did it for you, Acts 16:31 KJV "And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house."
A verse that you have probably heard in your whole life is John 3:16 KJV, let me show you again, THE DECLARATION OF GOD'S LOVE: (words in bracket are not part of the actual verse) "For God so loved the world (YOU AND ME), that he gave his only begotten Son (JESUS CHRIST), that whosoever believeth in him (OPEN INVITATION TO ALL) should not perish (IN HELLFIRE), but have (POSSESS FOREVER) everlasting life."
So, if you believe in Jesus Christ as your personal savior, believing in the payment He made for you, for all of your sins (past, present and future sins), He will put that payment to your account, and He says that you shall not perish but have eternal life. God will no longer see your many sins that is preventing you from entering heaven, He will see Christ's perfect record of sinless righteousness in you that will be put to your account the moment you "BELIEVE". So now you can be perfect in God's eyes to be able to enter heaven eternally, yes! You are justified by your faith (Romans 3:28 KJV), that is, declared righteous, as righteous as God Himself (because his perfect sinless record is put to your account), just as if you had never sinned, this is why Romans 4:5 KJV tells us simply: "But to him that worketh not, but believeth on him that justifieth the ungodly, his faith is counted for righteousness." So, the biblical reason why I cannot go to hell today, tomorrow or any other time is because I have no more sins to pay for, because Jesus Christ paid for all my sins (past, present and future sins) on the cross, and because I believe that, that is how I know that I have eternal life, and if you believe it, you can also know that you have eternal life too, and God's faithful promise is that He will never cast you out (John 6: 37 KJV) and will never lose you (John 6:39 KJV), and you can know that you will go to heaven.
The Bible says in I John 5:13 KJV: "These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God." The key word here is "KNOW", you can know with absolute certainty that you will go to heaven when you die if you believe in what the Lord Jesus Christ did to justify you, that is, to declare you righteous in the sight of God.
So, in the quietness of this moment, if this makes sense to you, WILL YOU STOP trusting in your good works, your religion, your sacraments, your traditions, your lifestyle, your self-effort in not sinning or deliberately not sinning, your perseverance, following and confessing Christ, water baptism, attending a congregation, tithing, praying, fasting, etc., as a relevant factor to get you to heaven and NOW will you put your FAITH ONLY AND COMPLETELY in the Lord Jesus Christ and IN WHAT HE DID TO JUSTIFY YOU?
He promises you eternal life the moment you do it, it's a free gift! And if He promises you eternal life, how long does it last? 5 minutes? 1 hour? until you sin next? how long is eternal?
ETERNAL IS ETERNAL! FOREVER! So what kind of life does Jesus promise you?, Eternal life! Not temporary life nor conditional life. Jesus said in John 6:47 KJV: "Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me hath everlasting life" and John 5:24 "Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life."
TRUST in what the unique, living and true God says in His pure and perfect Words, trust in His faithful promise, He cannot lie, "In hope of eternal life, which God, that cannot lie, promised before the world began" (Titus 1:2 KJV).

I John 5:10 KJV says "...he that believeth not God hath made him a liar;"
My friend, to die without faith alone in Jesus Christ alone, without comprehending the beautiful simplicity of the gospel of salvation by grace through faith alone (Ephesians 2:8-9) that I am providing you would be the bitterest tragedy of your life. The Bible says in II Thessalonians 1:8-9 KJV: "In flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not God, and that obey not the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ: Who shall be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord, and from the glory of his power;"
We cannot save ourselves by our own works, or help Christ save us by our own works, or help Christ keep us saved by our own works, if something is clear in the Scriptures it is that we are eternally saved and justified by our faith alone in Christ. The only reason Jesus came into this world was to SAVE SINNERS (I Timothy 1:15 KJV).
NOW THAT I BELIEVE
The Bible says that from the moment we believe in the Lord Jesus Christ as our Personal Savior we are born again, spiritually by the will of God (John 1:13 KJV), we are kept and preserved by the power of God (I Peter 1:5 KJV), we are sanctified, that is, set apart for God's special use (Hebrews 10:14 KJV), we are eternally sealed with the Holy Spirit (Ephesians 1:13 KJV) and we are made His children, "But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name" (John 1:12 KJV).
We become His beloved children and God becomes our beloved Father. While we have certain privileges now as His children, He as our Father also has the responsibility to care for us.
Likewise the Bible shows us that there is an ongoing battle between the old nature (our first birth in the flesh, by mom and dad) and the new nature (our second birth in the spirit, by God's will when we believed in Christ). Whether the new nature or the old nature has control over us depends entirely on our "voluntary decision" as to which one we will nurture, exercise and allow to rule in our life.
Two natures
Galatians 5:17 KJV "For the flesh lusteth against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh: and these are contrary the one to the other: so that ye cannot do the things that ye would". Therefore, this takes on a profound biblical meaning of why God continually instructs and exhorts us through His precious Word to walk in our new spiritual nature (i.e. when we constantly study and put into practice His teachings), because truly the changes are not automatic, they are voluntary and are the result of the dedication and discipline we exercise in our life out of love and gratitude to the Lord. However, the desires of the flesh will continue to be present, but we will not be controlled by them if we decide to walk in the Spirit. Only believers have two natures and can bear fruit in the spirit (Galatians 5:22-23 KJV) or works in the flesh (Galatians 5:19-21 KJV).
So, the type of fruit or work that the believer can produce depends solely on how willing is to "voluntarily" discipline his life, in order to appropriately serve the Lord.
CHASTISEMENT AND REWARDS
We must never make the mistake of thinking that we can live as we please without consequences.
*It does not refer to our salvation, but to our relationship with God now as His children.
God deals with His children mainly in two ways:
1. Rewards. When you respond and obey the Lord's direction in your life, God's discipline for you will essentially be guidance, encouragement and further instruction. Serving out of love and gratitude to the Lord Jesus Christ is a wise voluntary decision that will bring sweet love, joy and peace, blessings in our present life and also rewards in the life to come in heaven, "If any man's work abide which he hath built thereupon, he shall receive a reward" (I Corinthians 3:14 KJV), since every Christian will have to answer before God for his works during the judgment seat of Christ.
SEAT OF CHRIST
II Corinthians 5:10 KJV "For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad."
The judgment seat of Christ is an exclusive judgment for Christians, it will not determine our salvation, thank God none of us will be judged for our sins because that already happened on the cross and it took effect when we, when we were alive here on earth decided to believe in Jesus Christ as our Personal Savior who made the full payment for all our sins (past, present and future). The Bible says in John 5:24 KJV "Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life."
So, having clarified this, during the judgment seat of Christ all the good works that we have done when we were in the body, even the smallest ones will be revealed that day to be rewarded, nothing is in vain for the Lord (I Corinthians 15: 58 KJV); on the other hand, also the Bible clearly teaches us that those who have not done good works will suffer only the loss of rewards, however, they will remain eternally saved, "If any man's work shall be burned, he shall suffer loss: but he himself shall be saved; yet so as by fire" (I Corinthians 3:15 KJV).
JUSTIFICATION BEFORE MAN
*It does not refer to the salvation of our soul. It is not a requirement to be saved or to stay saved, nor is it evidence that we are actually saved, simply justification before man refers to how to acquire gain (rewards) in heaven during our Christian life, Philippians 1:21 KJV "For to me to live is Christ, and to die is gain."
When the Bible speaks of justification before man, it teaches us that the human being is incapable of seeing our faith (because faith is spiritual and only God knows it). Therefore, man can only see your faith when you show it to him by your works, that is, when you decide to "voluntarily discipline your life".
The good works in our life now as God's children have two purposes:
1. Humbly glorify God. Matthew 5:16 KJV “Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.”
2. Benefit man (i.e. lost souls and brothers and sisters in the faith). Titus 3:8 KJV "…These things are good and profitable unto men."
So if any God's children seems to have not changed their lives, behaviors and habits it does not mean that their are not saved or have never been saved, no, it simply means that their faith is not profitable, useful to others because have not disciplined their lives properly, as James 2:20 KJV reveals "But, O vain man, wilt thou know that faith without works is dead?" In other words, their faith without works is unfruitful, without fruit for others (Titus 3:14 KJV). On the contrary, that faith without works is dead does not teach that faith alone in Christ is incapable of saving anyone eternally, no. Please do not make that grievous error. Again, the book of James written to saved Christians, is intended to teach us how to acquire gains (rewards) in heaven during our Christian life. This is why James 2:14 talks about profit, "What doth it profit, my brethren, though a man say he hath faith, and have not works? can faith save him?" It is true that faith alone in Christ saves eternally, as we read in Romans 4:5, however, this Scripture teaches us that a Christian life without profit cannot save (escape) from God's chastisement. And you, which nature will you feed, your flesh or your spirit?
The Bible mentions various crowns that the Christian can archieve during his life if he decides to voluntarily serve Christ:
• The crown of life (James 1:12 KJV)
• The incorruptible crown (I Corinthians 9:25 KJV)
• The crown of rejoicing (I Thessalonians 2:19 KJV)
• The crown of glory (I Peter 5:2-4 KJV)
• The crown of righteousness (II Timothy 4:8 KJV)
CHRIST'S ORDINANCES
*They are not a requirement to be saved or to stay saved, nor are they evidence that we are really saved. They are symbolic elements of our relationship with our Savior.
The church is in essence the body of Christ, divinely constituted by each born again believer, therefore, the church of Christ was given two ordinances that identify and strengthen our spiritual life with our savior.
a. Water baptism
Water baptism is a public declaration of faith in Christ that the believer makes "voluntarily" before the world and the church at the beginning of the Christian life. It also represents a symbolic act of the death, burial and resurrection of the Lord Jesus Christ.
Reference II Corinthians 5:14, Romans 6:10-14, and II Corinthians 5:17.
b. Lord’s Supper
The Lord's Supper was instituted by Christ Himself the night before His crucifixion (Matthew 26:26-29; Mark 14:22-25).
Precious Jesus says in Luke 22:19-20 that we are to observe the Lord's Supper in remembrance of Him throughout our Christian life, as a token of His death until He returns (I Corinthians 11:23-26). It is a way of celebrating our intimate connection with Jesus, thanksgiving and personal examination.
2. Chastisement. When you rebel against God's direction, He will deal with you to the extent necessary for you to obey Him, “For whom the Lord loveth he chasteneth, and scourgeth every son whom he receiveth" (Hebrews 12:6 KJV).

Every wrong decision we make now as children of God will bring with it different levels of consequences for which we will be held accountable. We cannot escape the natural result of sin as well as God's personal chastisement in our life (Galatians 6:7 KJV "Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap."). He is our Father, He loves us and delights in us (Proverbs 3:14 KJV), He knows what is best for us, because a disobedient child is never happy and continuous sin brings weakness, sickness and suffering. God is faithful and just to forgive our sins now as His children whenever we confess them (I John 1:9 KJV), however, God does not guarantee the restoration of our relationship as well as the damage resulting from sin, therefore, if you refuse to voluntarily discipline your life there could be terrible consequences, you could lose the power of your testimony and possible rewards, plus God could shorten your days of life and could even take you home (to heaven) early because of your rebellion and neglect. I Corinthians 5:1-5 KJV shows us a precise example of this situation. The Apostle Paul is speaking to saved Corinthian Christians (whom he refers to as babes in Christ in chapter 3 because they had not yet achieved maturity), where a church member is living so carnally (led by his lusts) that he was guilty of fornication/incest with his father's wife, but they were excessively puffed up and look what happened to him in verse 5: "To deliver such an one unto Satan for the destruction of the flesh, that the spirit may be saved in the day of the Lord Jesus." Which one was saved? His body or his spirit? His spirit! Because of his disobedience his body may be given to Satan for the destruction of the flesh, but his spirit remains saved. This is because their salvation had nothing to do with their works, they were saved by grace through faith alone in Christ (Ephesians 2:8-9 KJV).
WHY DO PEOPLE DOUBT ABOUT THEIR SALVATION?
Simply because they are ignorant and indifferent to what God says in His pure and perfect Words in the Bible, therefore they are trusting in their own righteousness, in their emotions and experiences, in religions, traditions and teachings of man instead of the supreme authority, the Bible, the Word of God, furthermore they are foolishly questioning and perverting the simplicity of the Gospel of Christ, II Corinthians 11: 3 KJV "But I fear, lest by any means, as the serpent beguiled Eve through his subtilty, so your minds should be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ." And the reason is because tragically they have "NEVER" been saved, just like the self-righteous religious group that the Bible warns us in Matthew chapter 7, verse 21 to verse 23, who are fully trusting that they will go to heaven for all their good works, for their pious lifestyle. Let's examine Matthew 7:21-23 KJV: "21 Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. 22 Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? 23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity." They confessed that Jesus was Lord, they were claiming all their many good works that they did in His name, what was the problem?, why did Jesus say He "NEVER" knew them?, not that He once knew them and they lost their salvation. -Well, the clue is in verse 21, they failed to do the Father's will, What is "the Father's will"? The answer is found in John 6:40 KJV “And this is the will of him that sent me, that every one which seeth the Son, and believeth on him, may have everlasting life: and I will raise him up at the last day." So, the group of Matthew 7:21-23 was not saved because they refused to do the will of God with respect to the Gospel of Salvation of the Lord Jesus Christ...Romans 10:3-4 KJV “For they being ignorant of God's righteousness, and going about to establish their own righteousness, have not submitted themselves unto the righteousness of God. For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to every one that believeth." The reason the people of Matthew 7:21-23 were not allowed to enter heaven was because they were self-righteous religious people who rejected God's grace (Galatians 2:21 KJV "I do not frustrate the grace of God: for if righteousness come by the law, then Christ is dead in vain."). Therefore, it was not because they still had personal sins in their lives that God rejected them, it was because they had a Churchianity without Christ. Every believer still has sin in their life! We all sin every day. That does not mean that we have God's approval to sin, God forbid (Romans 3:31 KJV). It simply means that even the best Christians are still sinners. Those who subtly add works as a relevant factor for salvation is a dangerous Bible teacher who perverts God's gift into a lie, who believes he is saved because he tries hard not to sin, in addition to whatever faith he has in Christ. The big problem with his vain theology is that you are not really trusting Christ as your personal savior if at the same time you are also trying very hard to stop sinning as part of your salvation. That is self-righteousness, my friend, a false gospel inspired by Satan (Philippians 3:9 KJV "And be found in him, not having mine own righteousness, which is of the law, but that which is through the faith of Christ, the righteousness which is of God by faith:").
We cannot save ourselves by our own works, or help Christ save us by our own works, or help Christ keep us saved by our own works, if something is clear in the Scriptures it is that we are eternally saved and justified by our faith alone in Christ. The only reason Jesus came into this world was to SAVE SINNERS (I Timothy 1:15 KJV).
Do you realize how the Holy God always has an answer in perfect harmony for the "supposed confusions", remember to "rightly divide the Word of truth" (II Timothy 2:15-16 KJV "15 Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.
16 But shun profane and vain babblings: for they will increase unto more ungodliness"), God is not the author of confusion (I Corinthians 14:33).
I humbly pray that you will willingly humble yourselves and change your minds and believe in the beautiful simplicity of the Gospel of salvation of the Lord Jesus Christ (which I am providing) and come to the knowledge of the Truth and be saved according to the Bible, the supreme autorithy, for your lives are so precious and that is the desire of God, I Timothy 2:4 KJV "Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth."

No podemos ganar nuestro camino al cielo.
La Biblia dice en Efesios 2:8-9 KJV: "Porque por gracia sois salvos por la fe; y esto no de vosotros: es el don de Dios: No por obras, para que nadie se gloríe."
Así que no hay cantidad de “buenas obras" que tú puedas hacer para ganar la vida eterna, necesitamos un salvador y solo hay uno, entonces, Jesús Cristo el Señor, Dios en la carne vino a este mundo porque Él nos ama pero odia nuestro pecado, porque el pecado nos separa del Señor, así que siendo el pago por el pecado la muerte (al ser Cristo sin pecado), Cristo tomó todos mis pecados, todos tus pecados, todos los pecados de todo el mundo (pecados pasados, presentes y futuros) y pagó por ello en la cruz.
Ahora, la Biblia dice que Cristo resucitó corporalmente de entre los muertos al tercer día (I Corintios 15:1-4 KJV), es decir, ¡el pago por el pecado se ha hecho!, y lo que Él quiere que hagas es la única cosa que tú puedes hacer, y es "CREER" que Él lo hizo por ti, Actos 16:31 KJV “Y ellos le dijeron, Cree en el Señor Jesús Cristo, y serás salvo tú, y tu casa”. Ahora ves, Él te amó mucho que Él murió para darte el regalo gratuito de vida eterna.
Un versículo que probablemente hayas escuchado en toda tu vida es Juan 3:16 KJV, permíteme mostrarte nuevamente (las palabras en paréntesis no son parte del verso actual):
“Porque de tal manera amó Dios al mundo (TÚ Y YO), que dio a su Hijo unigénito (JESÚS CRISTO), para que todo aquel que en él cree (INVITACIÓN ABIERTA A TODOS) no perezca (EN EL UEGO DEL INFIERNO), mas tenga (POSEEA PARA SIEMPRE) vida eterna.”
Entonces, si tú crees en Jesús Cristo como tu salvador personal, creyendo en el pago completo que Él hizo por ti, por todos tus pecados (pecados pasados, presentes y futuros) en la cruz, Él lo pondrá en tu cuenta y Él dice que tú no debes perecer sino tener vida eterna. Dios ya no verá tus muchos pecados lo que te impide entrar al cielo, Él verá el registro perfecto de justicia sin pecado de Cristo en ti que se pondrá en tu cuenta desde el momento en que "CREAS", entonces, ahora tú puedes ser perfecto ante los ojos de Dios para ser capaz de entrar al cielo eternamente, ¡sí!, eres justificado por tu fe (Romanos 3:28 KJV), es decir, declarado justo, tan justo como Dios mismo (porque su registro perfecto sin pecado se pone en tu cuenta), tal como si nunca hubieras pecado, por esta razón Romanos 4:5 KJV nos dice simplemente: "Mas al que no obra, sino cree en aquel que justifica al impío, su fe le es contada por justicia." Entonces, la razón bíblica por la cual yo no puedo ir al infierno hoy, mañana o en cualquier otro tiempo en el futuro es porque ya no tengo más pecados que pagar, porque Jesús Cristo pagó por todos mis pecados (pecados pasados, presentes y futuros) en la cruz, y porque yo creo eso, así es como yo sé que tengo vida eterna, y si tú lo crees, tú también puedes saber que tienes vida eterna, y la fiel promesa de Dios es que Él nunca te echará fuera (Juan 6:37 KJV) y Él nunca te perderá (Juan 6:39 KJV), y tú puedes saber que estás yendo al cielo.
La Biblia dice en I Juan 5:13 KJV: “Yo he escrito estas cosas a vosotros que creéis en el nombre del Hijo de Dios; para que sepáis que tenéis vida eterna, y para que creáis en el nombre del Hijo de Dios."
La palabra clave aquí es "SABER", tú puedes saber con absoluta certeza que irás al cielo cuando mueras si crees en lo que el Señor Jesús Cristo hizo para justificarte, es decir, declararte justo ante Dios.
Entonces, en la tranquilidad de este momento, si esto tiene sentido para ti, ¿DEJARÁS DE CONFIAR en tus buenas obras, tu religión, tus sacramentos, tus tradiciones, tu esfuerzo propio, tu estilo de vida, dejar de pecar, no pecar deliberadamente , tu perseverancia, seguir a Cristo, confesar a Cristo, el bautismo en agua, pertenecer a una congregación, atender frecuentemente una congregación, diezmar, ayunar, experiencias religiosas, etc., como un factor relevante para llevarte al cielo y AHORA tú pondrás tu FE ÚNICAMENTE Y COMPLETAMENTE en el Señor Jesús Cristo y EN LO QUE ÉL HIZO PARA JUSTIFICARTE?
Él te promete vida eterna en el momento en que lo hagas, ¡es un regalo gratuito!, y si te promete vida eterna, ¿Cuánto dura?, ¿5 minutos?, ¿1 hora?, ¿hasta la próxima vez que peques?, ¿cuánto tiempo es eterno? Eterno es eterno, para siempre.
Jesús dijo en Juan 6:47 KJV: "De cierto, de cierto, os digo, El que cree en mí tiene vida eterna", y Juan 5:24 KJV "De cierto, de cierto, os digo: El que oye mi palabra, y cree al que me envió, tiene vida eterna, y no vendrá a condenación; mas ha pasado de muerte a vida."
CONFÍA en lo que el Dios único, vivo y verdadero dice en sus palabras puras y perfectas, confía en su fiel promesa, Él no puede mentir, "En la esperanza de la vida eterna, la cual Dios, que no puede mentir, prometió antes de que el mundo comenzara" (Tito 1:2 KJV).

I Juan 5:10 KJV dice "...el que no cree a Dios, le ha hecho mentiroso;"
Morir sin fe sola en Jesús Cristo, sin comprender la hermosa simplicidad del Evangelio de salvación de gracia por medio de la fe (Efesios 2:8-9) que te estoy proveyendo sería la tragedia más amarga de tu vida. La Biblia dice en II Tesalonicenses 1:8-9 KJV: "En llama de fuego tomando venganza a los que no conocen a Dios, y que no obedecen el evangelio de nuestro Señor Jesús Cristo: los cuales serán castigados con la destrucción eterna de la presencia del Señor, y de la gloria de su poder;"
Nosotros no podemos salvarnos a nosotros mismos por nuestras propias obras, o ayudar a Cristo a salvarnos por nuestras propias obras, o ayudar a Cristo a mantenernos salvos por nuestras propias obras, si algo está claro en las Escrituras es que nosotros somos salvos y justificados eternamente por nuestra fe sola en Cristo. La única razón por la cual Jesús vino a este mundo fue para SALVAR A LOS PECADORES ( I Timoteo 1:15 KJV).
AHORA QUE CREÍ
La Biblia dice que desde el momento en que creemos en el Señor Jesús Cristo como nuestro salvador personal nacemos de nuevo, espiritualmente por la voluntad de Dios (Juan 1:13 KJV), somos guardados y preservados por el poder de Dios (I Pedro 1:5 KJV), somos santificados, es decir, apartados para un uso especial de Dios (Hebreos 10:14 KJV), somos sellados eternamente con el Espíritu Santo (Efesios 1:13 KJV) y somos hechos sus hijos, “Mas a todos los que le recibieron, les dio poder de ser hechos hijos de Dios, a los que creen en su nombre” (Juan 1:12 KJV).
Nosotros nos convertimos en sus hijos amados y Dios se convierte en nuestro Padre amado. Si bien tenemos ciertos privilegios ahora como sus hijos, Él como nuestro Padre también tiene la responsabilidad de cuidarnos.
Asimismo la Biblia nos muestra que hay una batalla continua entre la antigua naturaleza (nuestro primer nacimiento en la carne, por mamá y papá) y la nueva naturaleza (nuestro segundo nacimiento en el espíritu, por la voluntad de Dios cuando creímos en Cristo). El que la nueva naturaleza o la antigua naturaleza tengan control sobre nosotros depende totalmente de nuestra "decisión voluntaria" de cuál de ellas nutriremos, ejercitaremos y permitiremos gobernar en nuestra vida.
Dos naturalezas
Gálatas 5:17 KJV "Porque la carne codicia en contra el espíritu, y el espíritu contra la carne: y estos se oponen el uno al otro, de modo que no podáis hacer lo que quisiereis."
Por lo tanto, esto adquiere un profundo sentido bíblico del porque Dios nos instruye y exhorta continuamente a través de su preciosa Palabra a caminar en nuestra nueva naturaleza espiritual (es decir, cuando estudiamos constantemente y ponemos en práctica sus enseñanzas), porque verdaderamente los cambios no son automáticos, son voluntarios y son el resultado de la dedicación y la disciplina que ejercemos en nuestra vida por amor y gratitud al Señor. Por otra parte, los deseos de la carne continuarán estando presentes, pero no seremos controlados por ellos si decidimos caminar en el Espíritu. Solo los creyentes tienen dos naturalezas y pueden dar frutos en el espíritu (Gálatas 5:22-23 KJV) u obras en la carne (Gálatas 5:19-21 KJV).
Entonces, el tipo de fruto u obra que el creyente pueda producir depende únicamente de cuán dispuesto esté para disciplinar “voluntariamente” su vida, en orden para servir apropiadamente al Señor.
CASTIGOS Y RECOMPENSAS
Nunca debemos cometer el error de pensar que nosotros podemos vivir como nos plazca sin consecuencias.
*No se refiere a la salvación de nuestra alma, sino a nuestra relación con Dios ahora como sus hijos.
Dios trata con sus hijos principalmente de dos maneras:
1. Recompensas. Cuando respondes y obedeces la dirección del Señor en tu vida, la disciplina de Dios para ti será esencialmente una guía, aliento y una mayor instrucción. Servir por amor y gratitud al Señor Jesús Cristo es una sabia decisión voluntaria que traerá dulce amor, gozo y paz, bendiciones en nuestra vida presente y también recompensas en la vida venidera en el cielo, "Si permaneciere la obra de alguno que sobreedificó, recibirá recompensa" (I Corintios 3:14 KJV), ya que cada Cristiano tendrá que responder ante Dios por sus obras durante el tribunal de Cristo.
TRIBUNAL DE CRISTO
II Corintios 5:10 KJV "Porque todos debemos comparecer ante el tribunal de Cristo; para que cada uno reciba las cosas hechas en su cuerpo, según lo que haya hecho, sea bueno o sea malo.”
El tribunal de Cristo es un juicio exclusivo para los Cristianos, no se determinará nuestra salvación, gracias a Dios ninguno de nosotros será juzgado por sus pecados porque eso ya ocurrió en la cruz y tuvo efecto cuando nosotros, cuando estábamos vivos aquí en la tierra decidimos creer en Jesús Cristo como nuestro salvador personal que hizo el pago completo por todos nuestros pecados (pecados pasados, presentes y futuros). La Biblia dice en Juan 5:24 KJV "De cierto, de cierto, os digo: El que oye mi palabra, y cree al que me envió, tiene vida eterna, y no vendrá a condenación; mas ha pasado de muerte a vida."
JUSTIFICACIÓN ANTE EL HOMBRE
*No se refiere a la salvación de nuestra alma (no es un requisito para ser salvo o para mantenerse salvo, ni tampoco es la evidencia de que actualmente somos salvos). La justificación ante el hombre se refiere a cómo adquirir ganancias (recompensas) en el cielo durante nuestra vida Cristiana, Filipenses 1:21 KJV "Porque para mí el vivir es Cristo, y el morir es ganancia."
Cuando la Biblia nos habla de la justificación ante el hombre nos enseña que el ser humano es incapaz de ver nuestra fe (porque la fe es espiritual y solo Dios la conoce). Entonces, el hombre solo podrá ver tu fe cuando tú se la muestras por tus obras, es decir, cuando tú decides “disciplinar voluntariamente tu vida."
Las obras buenas en nuestra vida ahora como hijos de Dios tienen dos propósitos:
1. Glorificar humildemente a Dios. Mateo 5:16 KJV “Así resplandezca vuestra luz delante de los hombres, para que vean vuestras obras buenas, y glorifiquen a vuestro Padre que está en el cielo.”
2. Beneficiar al hombre (las almas perdidas y los hermanos/hermanas en la fe). Tito 3:8 KJV “…Estas cosas son buenas y provechosas para los hombres."
Así que si algún hijo de Dios pareciera que no ha cambiado su vida, comportamientos y hábitos no significa que no es salvo o que nunca lo ha sido, no, simplemente significa que su fe no es provechosa, no es útil para los demás porque no ha disciplinado su vida apropiadamente, tal como Jacobo 2:20 KJV lo revela “¿Mas, oh hombre vano, quieres saber, que la fe sin las obras es muerta?” En otras palabras su fe sin obras es infructífera, sin fruto para los demás (Tito 3:14 KJV). Por el contrario, que la fe sin obras es muerta no enseña que la fe fe sola en Cristo es incapaz de salvar a alguien eternamente, no. Por favor, no cometa ese gravísimo error. Nuevamente, el libro de Jacobo escrito a Cristianos salvos, tiene el propósito de enseñarnos cómo adquirir ganancias en el cielo durante nuestra vida Cristiana. Por esta razón Jacobo 2:14 habla acerca del beneficio, "¿De qué aprovecha, hermanos míos, que uno diga que tiene fe, si no tiene obras? ¿Puede salvarle la fe?" Es verdad que la fe sola en Cristo salva eternamente, tal como lo leímos en Romanos 4:5, sin embargo, esta Escritura nos enseña que una vida Cristiana sin beneficio no podrá salvarse (escaparse) del castigo de Dios. Y tú, ¿Cuál naturaleza alimentarás?, ¿tu carne o tu espíritu?
La Biblia nos menciona varias coronas que el Cristiano puede alcanzar durante su vida si decide servir voluntariamente a Cristo:
• La corona de vida (Santiago/Jacobo 1:12 KJV)
• La corona incorruptible (I Corintios 9:25 KJV)
• La corona de regocijo (I Tesalonicenses 2:19 KJV)
• La corona de gloria (I Pedro 5:2-4 KJV)
• La corona de justicia (II Timoteo 4:8 KJV)
ORDENANZAS DE CRISTO
*No son requisitos para la salvación de nuestra alma, sino elementos simbólicos de nuestra relación con nuestro salvador.
La iglesia es en esencia el cuerpo de Cristo, constituido divinamente por cada creyente nacido de nuevo, por lo tanto, a la iglesia de Cristo le fueron otorgadas dos ordenanzas que identifican y fortalecen nuestra vida espiritual con nuestro salvador.
a. Bautismo en agua
El bautismo en agua es una declaración de fe pública en Cristo que el creyente realiza "voluntariamente" ante el mundo y la iglesia al inicio de la vida Cristiana. Asimismo representa un hecho simbólico de la muerte, sepultura y resurrección del Señor Jesús Cristo.
Referencia II Corintios 5:14, Romanos 6:10-14, y II Corintios 5:17.
b. La Cena del Señor
a Cena del Señor fue instituida por Cristo mismo la noche anterior a Su crucifixión (Mateo 26:26-29; Marcos 14:22-25).
Precioso Jesús dice en Lucas 22:19-20 que debemos observar voluntariamente la Cena del Señor en memoria de Él durante toda nuestra vida Cristiana, como una muestra de Su muerte hasta que Él regrese (I Corintios 11:23-26). Es una manera de celebrar nuestra conexión íntima con Cristo, de acción de gracias y examinación personal.
2. Castigos. Cuando tú te rebelas contra la dirección de Dios, Él tratará contigo en la medida en que sea necesario para que le obedezcas, “Porque el Señor al que ama castiga, y azota a todo el que recibe por hijo" (Hebreos 12:6 KJV).
Cada decisión incorrecta que tomemos ahora como hijos de Dios traerá consigo distintos niveles de consecuencias de las cuales seremos responsables. No podemos escapar del resultado natural del pecado así como del castigo personal de Dios en nuestra vida (Gálatas 6:7 KJV "No os engañéis; Dios no puede ser burlado: porque lo que el hombre sembrare, eso también segará.”). Él es nuestro Padre, ÉL nos ama y se deleita en nosotros (Proverbios 3:14 KJV), Él sabe que es lo mejor para nosotros, porque un hijo desobediente nunca es feliz y el pecado continuo trae consigo debilidad, enfermedad y sufrimiento. Dios es fiel y justo para perdonar nuestros pecados ahora como sus hijos cada vez que los confesemos (I Juan 1:9 KJV), sin embargo, Dios no garantiza la restauración de nuestra relación así como el daño resultante del pecado, por lo tanto, si te niegas a disciplinar voluntariamente tu vida podrían haber terribles consecuencias, podrías perder el poder de tu testimonio y posibles recompensas, además Dios podría acortar tus días de vida e incluso podría llevarte a casa (al cielo) antes de tiempo a causa de tu rebeldía y negligencia. I Corintios 5:1-5 KJV nos muestra un ejemplo preciso de esta situación. El Apóstol Pablo le está hablando a Cristianos salvos de Corintio (a quienes se refiere como bebés en Cristo en el capítulo 3 porque aún no habían logrado madurar), en donde un miembro de la iglesia está viviendo tan carnalmente (guiado por sus deseos) que fue culpable de fornicación/incesto con la esposa de su padre, pero ellos fueron excesivamente orgullosos que mira lo que le sucedió en el versículo 5: "Para entregar al tal a Satanás para la destrucción de la carne, para que el espíritu sea salvo en el día del Señor Jesús", ¿Cuál fue salvo?, ¿su cuerpo o su espíritu? ¡Su espíritu! Debido a su desobediencia su cuerpo puede ser entregado a Satanás para la destrucción de la carne, pero su espíritu permanece salvo. Esto es porque su salvación no tuvo nada que ver con sus obras, ellos fueron salvos por gracia a través de la fe sola en Cristo (Efesios 2:8-9 KJV).
¿POR QUÉ LAS PERSONAS DUDAN SOBRE SU SALVACIÓN?
Simplemente porque ellos son ignorantes e indiferentes ante lo que Dios dice en sus Palabras puras y perfectas en la Biblia, por lo tanto ellos están confiando en su propia justicia, en sus emociones y experiencias, en las religiones, las tradiciones y las enseñanzas del hombre en vez de la autoridad suprema, la Biblia, la Palabra de Dios, además ellos están cuestionando y pervirtiendo neciamente la simplicidad del Evangelio de salvación de Cristo, II Corintios 11:3 KJV "Pero me temo que, como la serpiente engañó a Eva con su astucia, vuestras mentes sean corrompidas de la simplicidad que es en Cristo." Y la razón es porque trágicamente ellos "NUNCA" han sido salvos, tal como el grupo religioso con propia justicia que la Biblia nos advierte en Mateo capítulo 7, versículos 21 al 23, los cuales están confiando plenamente en que irán al cielo por todas sus buenas obras, por su piadoso estilo de vida. Examinemos Mateo 7:21-23 KJV "21No todo el que me dice, Señor, Señor, entrará en el reino del cielo; sino el que hace la voluntad de mi Padre que está en el cielo. 22Muchos me dirán en aquel día, Señor, Señor, ¿no profetizamos en tu nombre?, ¿y en tu nombre echamos demonios?, ¿y en tu nombre hicimos muchas obras maravillosas? 23Y entonces les declararé, Nunca os conocí: apartaos de mí, vosotros que obráis maldad." Ellos confesaron que Jesús era el Señor, estaban reclamando todas sus muchas buenas obras que hicieron en su nombre, ¿Cuál era el problema?, ¿por qué Jesús dijo que "NUNCA" los conoció?, no que una vez Él los conoció y que ellos perdieron su salvación. —Bueno, la pista está en el versículo 21, ellos fallaron en hacer la voluntad del Padre, ¿Cuál es “la voluntad del Padre”? La respuesta se encuentra en Juan 6:40 KJV…“Y ésta es la voluntad del que me envió, que todo aquel que ve al Hijo, y cree en él, tenga vida eterna: y yo le resucitaré en el día postrero." Entonces, el grupo de Mateo 7:21-23 no fue salvo porque se negó a hacer la voluntad de Dios con respecto al Evangelio de Salvación del Señor Jesús Cristo...Romanos 10:3-4 KJV “Porque ignorando la justicia de Dios, y procurando establecer su propia justicia, no se han sujetado a la justicia de Dios. Porque Cristo es el fin de la ley para justicia a todo aquel que cree." La razón por la cual a las personas de Mateo 7:21-23 no se les permitió entrar al cielo fue porque eran personas religiosas con justicia propia que rechazaron la gracia de Dios (Gálatas 2:21 KJV "No desecho la gracia de Dios: porque si la justicia viene por la ley, entonces Cristo murió en vano."). Por lo tanto, no fue porque todavía tenían pecados personales en sus vidas que Dios los rechazó, fue porque tenían un Cristianismo sin Cristo. ¡Todo creyente todavía tiene pecado en su vida! Todos pecamos todos los días. Eso no quiere decir que tengamos la aprobación de Dios para pecar, Dios no lo quiera (Romanos 3:31 KJV). Simplemente significa que incluso los mejores Cristianos siguen siendo pecadores. Aquellos que sutilmente agregan las obras como un factor relevante para la salvación es un falso maestro de la Biblia que pervierte el regalo de Dios en una mentira, el cual cree que es salvo porque se esfuerza mucho por no pecar, además de cualquier fe que tenga en Cristo. El gran problema con su teología vana es que no estás confiando realmente en Cristo como tu salvador personal si al mismo tiempo también estás esforzándote mucho por dejar de pecar como parte de tu salvación. Eso es justicia propia, amigo mío, un evangelio falso inspirado en Satanás (Filipenses 3:9 KJV "Y ser hallado en él, no teniendo mi propia justicia, que es de la ley, sino la que es por la fe de Cristo, la justicia que es de Dios por fe:").
Nosotros no podemos salvarnos a nosotros mismos por nuestras propias obras, o ayudar a Cristo a salvarnos por nuestras propias obras, o ayudar a Cristo a mantenernos salvos por nuestras propias obras, si algo está claro en las Escrituras es que nosotros somos salvos y justificados eternamente por nuestra fe sola en Cristo. La única razón por la cual Jesús vino a este mundo fue para SALVAR A LOS PECADORES ( I Timoteo 1:15 KJV).
¿Te das cuenta de cómo el Dios Santo siempre tiene una respuesta en perfecta armonía para las "supuestas confusiones", recuerda "trazar bien la Palabra de verdad" (II Timoteo 2:15-16 KJV "15 “Estudia con diligencia presentarte aprobado a Dios, como obrero que no tiene de qué avergonzarse, que traza bien la palabra de verdad. 16 Mas evita profanas y vanas parlerías, porque ellas crecerán para mayor impiedad "), Dios no es autor de confusión (I Corintios 14:33).
Oro humildemente para que se humillen voluntariamente y cambien su manera de pesar y crean en la hermosa simplicidad del Evangelio de salvación del Señor Jesucristo (que les estoy proveyendo) y lleguen al conocimiento de la verdad y sean salvos de acuerdo a la Biblia, la autoridad suprema, porque sus vidas son tan preciosas y ese es el deseo de Dios, I Timoteo 2:4 KJV “El cual quiere que todos los hombres sean salvos, y que vengan al conocimiento de la verdad”
