- I'm Devin and I'm 32 years old from Cedar Rapids, Iowa. I was born and raised in Iowa, but moved around a bit growing up. When I was in my 20s I moved to the East Coast for a couple years before coming back to Iowa. I struggled with anxiety and depression for years until it became too much. In 2021 I had to quit my job due to a traumatic experience that caused me to develop severe social anxiety. Everything changed for me on October 15th, 2023. I had believed in God and Jesus since I was about 15. However, I never truly gave my heart to God until this day in October. I thought I was too filthy and too unlovable. Too far gone to be saved. Or that I could somehow sin my way out of being saved. And then the day came when the Lord led be back into going to church. I hadn't been to one in ages and found a new one that changed my life. Since then I've been working on building myself up in mind, body and spirit. Specifically in God's Holy Spirit. I'm imperfectly me, but I'm finally truly saved. Thank You Father God, Lord Jesus, and Holy Spirit. Amen. And thanks to you who read this far.
