- I am looking for friends first - maybe more later. I like to focus on God. I have been alone for a long time. I was married for 23 years and I have two grown daughters that I dearly love. I have a little dog named Toughie who is about 11 years old. He has a cat (yes, it is his) named George (I can explain that later if asked). I keep an uncluttered, clean house. I attend a local chuch that is about a five minute walk from me. I am home most of the time. I do not drive because of a seizure problem that started in 2005 while I was driving truck for a living. I like to be honest and up front about things so that expectations are not skewed. I have a bald spot on the back of my head and am missing teeth because of some medication the VA hospital had me on for these seizures. I was in the army during the gulf war from 1990 to 1994. I write life-experience poetry and short stories and post them on poetrysoup.com. Check out my poems, see my life, then decide whether or not you might be interested. I am not a regular smoker. Once every two or three months I like to go outside and puff on a small cigar and I don't realy inhale so I am not really a smoker. At night before I go to bed I have a juice mix consisting of straight cranberry juice and lemon juice and apple cider vinegar and a shot of alcohol as a tonic but I do not get drunk or go out and drink. I don't like putting my real information online, but I am choosing to do so here. I prefer to talk things out and not to argue. Life is too short to be grouchy, angry, and depressed all of the time. My personal creed is: "My life is worth only what I have contributed to the lives of others." and I live by that. God bless.
