Vegan, literate gentleman, an animist not above proclaiming reformed Druidism if it get him into the right clubs. An Alan Watts fallen Episcopalian, not that i had far to fall, who believes in Einstein's concept of God, and that the story of Jesus is a wonderful tale, since it appears at least....five (5) time earlier in every detail going back to 2,500 BC, on par with the very real story of Spartacus. I also believe many churches did vital work in promoting civil rights and opposing war.
I also believe in Mark Twain's remark, "I always tell the truth. It makes it easier to remember what I said."
I am here strictly because it's a free site, and i am old enough to remember when meeting a paramour at a party, on the train into Manhattan, at school, walking down the street was entirely free and innocent, and am looking for a thoughtful, slender, local, vegan woman in lovely, slinky, well-preserved shape both to cuddle and ponder the marvels of both the deep blue sea, cradle of all life, despite now a cesspool of plastic, toxins, heavy metals, and the universe, believing God/Great Spirit/Gaia/Zeus/Minerva expects better from us, and believe that Native American, perhaps Iroquoian/Mohawk adage, "Ancestors always watch."
While not a political wonk, i am a pro-business liberal Democrat whose biggest concern is that of the world's scientists, overpopulation, as well as ending the barbaric, unjust, unfair, fiscal waste of the death penalty, which we share with no other modern industrial democracy on earth, both these issues underscoring a cheapening of human life, as mistakes have been made, 4%, or over 100 innocent people, are today on our nation's death rows, hundreds more over-sentenced. I believe Christianity embraces equality, equal justice under the law, that no one is above the law, and that unless Bratman, aka Orange Julius, Oswald Cobblepot, Donald Trump is imprisoned, our 248-year experiment with democracy is a sham.
I believe you cannot be an environmentalist without begin vegan, that our fellow creatures are sentient, social beings, and not just the dogs the Pope decided have souls and go to heaven. I believe many use the Bible, as others the Torah, the Koran, the Book of Zao and other texts, as guides to an ethical, moral life, but that if you would otherwise be a vile creature without an owner's manual, you are bereft of humanity. Again, i am here for a "free-range" thinker, a slender, well-preserved, local vegan woman of my years or else with a very auld soul, who prefers riding a bike to driving a car is it's not raining and a local, light errand.
Forgive the verbiage, but i believe in candor, and as a lawyer friend says, "truth will out." I've worked hard all my adult life, and want a cuddly, blissful partner in crime, with extra points if you know how to set up a website, the proceeds i will gladly share with you.
