My faith is important to me and want to find someone with shared values. I am a leader and occasional youth volunteer at church. Worshiping and praying together are an important part of developing a relationship.
I enjoy hiking - whether around the neighborhood, in a state or national park, or through a new city. I've experienced beautiful streams, inspiring peaks, peaceful forests, and interesting cultures. Meeting a new hiking partner would be a great start. I am healthy and active and would like a partner who is too.
I also enjoy cooking because I like sharing good food with friends and family, movies of all genres, sports - particularly college football, cards, board games, and travel. I'm also open to trying new things.
I've been a scout leader since my boys started cub scouts. They are now both Eagle Scouts. High adventure trips with my boys are highlights for each of us. I still volunteer, but at a more relaxed level.
I'll be an empty-nester in a few months and will have more free time. I am looking forward to finding a partner for sharing meals, movies, travel, and fun with family and friends.
I have a good job as an expert in my field. We can talk about that later.
