I'm shy at first. Fairly Silly. Loving. Affectionate. Compassionate. Understanding and stuuubborn, but I'm working on that. Oh and I'm a sweetheart! Most of the time anyway. We all have our off days of course and I'm no exception but it's rare, thankfully.
First let me say, I was raised by my grandparents, they were ministers for 30 years. Beautiful people. So, I was raised in church but I stopped going for many years. My faith never stopped I just, well, long story. I have recently ( a few months) started back at church and it has been such a blessing. I'm so glad I've found my way back.
I'm a relatively smart cookie so feel free to talk about anything and if I'm not versed in your choice of topic, lucky for you, Im eager to learn. And I'm capable of conversation which seems to be a quality now.
I'm a tad geeky, but I enjoy every moment of it. I do not bore easily and if you don't either, what a huge plus! I am however, NOT Comicon geeky or a gamer, keep all that to yourself. Ha.
I was raised by my grandparents, I'd like to think that is where my love for music and film pre-1970 came from. Yes, TCM is my channel. I am a Rat Pack geek if you know who they are. If you are familiar with the Nicholas Brothers, I'd like to be friends. If Cab Calloway makes you smile and bob your head, I'd like to know your name. If Ella Fitzgerald gives you a stank face because she's so amazing, I want to listen with you. If Bobby Darin makes you tap your toes, I wanna sit and listen with you. I can be contemporary too, relax, I'm aware of the times. I'm simply expressing where my hearts main desire is.
If we watch a movie my choice will almost always be "Anything based on a true story or real events".
Thai food is where it's at!! But really, I'm just a fan of all nom noms.
Lastly, I have 1 son. Just ONE child, not a baseball team. No, I'm not looking for you to be his dad, but you will be a positive addition to his life.
