I have been about my Father's business for quite some time. I have kept myself set apart from the dating scene for a good while. I found this site by accident. Curiosity got the better of me and here I am.
I have such a busy work schedule that I don't have much time to be trying to find the helpmate that God has set apart for me. God knows that I am not "desperately seeking."
I understand that "To every thing there is a season and a time for every purpose under the heavens." Whenever I feel weak or lonely or impatient, I profess the word of God:
"They that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; Seek first the kingdom of God and all these things shall be added unto you; Delight yourself in the Lord and He will grant the desires of your heart." Praise God for His encouraging words of promise. In His Word I find my strength.
Jesus is my hope and my first love. He has taught me to be humble, to wait, not to worry, to give and forgive. He has transformed my life, renewed my mind, formed and fashioned my heart. It is my Heavenly Father who has made me to be compassionate, considerate, merciful, faithful, peace-loving, gentle, joyful and bold.
I have a great passion for the outdoors. I love the sunrise over the Gulf of Mexico on Padre Island. I feel so close to God there on the dunes, under the clouds, the sun, the moon, the stars. I have had the best "church" there. The heavens declare the glory of the Lord. The skies proclaim the work of his hands! Psalm 19:1
