Me in a nutshell: I'm very passionate about music, particularly oldies (including classic Country music from the 50's and 60's) and contemporary Christian music (90's and early 2000's), i'm not really big into modern top 40 music (i like a few recent songs but not a whole lot). I collect old records and have a large collection of 45's (singles, not guns -- and I have over 6,000 of them). I'd love to find someone with a similar interest in oldies music, even if not to the same extent as me.
I currently live in New York but am hoping to relocate to some place further south in the near future (maybe somewhere in Tennessee -- I grew up in Maryland but that area is not what it used to be and I wouldn't want to live there again).
I went to a Bible college for a few years but did not graduate. I hope to eventually be in a better financial position where I can finish online while I am working.
I have attended several different types of churches over the years (and still love to go to different kinds once in a while) and I associate myself with Baptist churches, though I don't believe any one church has it 100% right (a "perfect" church would be made imperfect by sinful man setting foot inside). I also prefer to read the NIV Bible (if that matters to you).
I'm not the greatest Christian in the world, i have my faults that I have struggled with for years, but am looking for someone willing to look past my faults to see that the Lord lives within me and that I am passionate about my faith even if i don't always show it. I'm seeking someone who can help me become a better Christian as well without being judgemental of my faults.
I do not smoke, I do not drink regularly (while I'm willing to try anything once, I generally won't take more than one sip of something, as I don't care for Alcohol) and i also do not do drugs. I would prefer to find someone who did not smoke or drink regularly (but i would be accepting of anyone who did these, if they were at least trying to quit) and i absolutely will not date someone who does drugs.
