It is imporssible to tell you what another woman wants. You have to make friends with that person and ask them. P.S being alone getting to know women helps you understand them and yourself dont look for them let them come to you and dont sleep with them sex only complicate things you cant get to know a woman this way. I really believe that you are just a sweet soul, and the right woman will see and appreciate that. Talk, make her smile, listen, value her, don't take her granted. For me its conversation, I like guy who can teach me stuff but also has no problem learning from me, and has a real relationship with Jesus, no pomp and circumstatnce just a real friendship, companion, buddy kindof thing going on. He'd have to be a man I can respect., and for the record, that would be respect along with his past and whatever mistakes therein.. hmm... sound familiar.. :glow: Post Reply

Posted : 22 May, 2012 09:08 AM I used to think I knew what I wanted, and then strangely enough I would cross paths with guys who had these traits but they were still wrong for me. I really think God did that to show me that while we may THINK we know what we want, He knows. It must be frustrating for a guy or girl to hear what the other wants in each other and know you possess them only to find that still you are not compatible. So one of the most important things is for the guy to love God more than me. Some might say "duh" or "that's cliche'" but it is so important, Many claim to love Christ but they only have a form of godliness. If you love Christ you will follow His commands and precepts that ties into being able to be led by Him so you can also lead. I want a man of prayer and someone consistent in his walk, who lives by the word of God. If he has Jesus as His foundation much can stand. I met someone recently that has changed my perspective on things, I mean we can all agree sometimes our wants and desires get us into a bit of trouble relationship wise and there are times we hurt and we hurt others. But the words that impacted me so much and I tell you it's not an easy prayer to pray because you have to be able to surrender was "Lord I know what I want, but give me what would most serve you." How many of us are willing to pray that prayer? :waving: Post Reply

Posted : 22 May, 2012 10:49 AM Romance is not some sort of RPG where you level up to "Boyfriend" after you do enough tasks to earn boyfriend points. Women are either going to like you for who you are or they aren't. You need to take a good hard look at yourself and consider whether you're putting the best version of yourself out there. The more authentic you can be, the better, but that doesn't mean that you can't use some improving. After all, a diamond is more valuable after it's been cut and polished. A strong Christian woman is going to be most attracted to a strong Christian man, and that is only achieved when you are most like Christ. Jesus was not desperate, needy, or a pushover. He was a strong leader to his followers, and he served people not from a place of trying to get them to like him, but because he got what he needed from the Father and was free to give his time and energy to others. He was very different than so many men in the Church today. Find "The Silence of Adam" by Larry Crabb and read it. It's not long, but it is more than worth your time. Post Reply

Posted : 22 May, 2012 11:36 AM Dr. Crabb was years ahead of his time, and I'm sure there is a lot of useful stuff in there for women, but just remember that it is a book written for men by a man, and it was not written with women in mind. It addresses a lot of heavy topics, and if any woman has an idealistic view of Christian men, her fantasy will likely be shattered. Post Reply
