I tend to only message women actually, that I find interesting and would like to talk to yet most of the time I see most ladies read the message I actually put a fair bit of thought and effort into to try and spark conversation, but they either never reply or if they do-with less than 1 full and thoughtful sentence that basically says, "I don't really want to talk to you...bye; I'm waiting for my future husband God is going to give me." Pictures that show too much skin. A profile that talks only about him, and not anything about what he is looking for or the kind of woman he would be interested in. Too many blanks -- as in you didn't answer a profile question. Bad english and/or bad grammar are a BIG turn-off for me Post Reply

Posted : 28 May, 2010 09:39 AM I think that when a man who is on track with the Lord writes about Him in his profile, he will get fewer emails. there are not that many Godly women here and I think talking about the Lord in your profile may turn them away. SAD TO SAY but I feel it's true. just be patient and dont compromise and go after the ones the Lord highlights to you, whether its for Godly fellowship and/or encouragement or more. No pic doesn't turn me off; I'm hesitant to post pictures myself. Big turn offs to me are a man who posts a pic with a woman hanging on him (who is that? You're sure you're single?), or a man who's showing off his muscles and/orshirtless. I'd rather know your heart first, then your body. Sometimes profiles seem awfully picky, too. If you want perfect, you won't find it here. I'm actually human. :rolleyes: I didn't see any of that on your profile though. Looked fine to me. Post Reply

I'm not trying to be mean in any way. Pretty much everything you write here can be seen from your profile. Above all, always be truthful but remember - this is your 'advertisement'. Just don't be 'a used car salesman'! lol Be totally honest at all times. Don't just disappear if things go different from what you want. Explain, be honest. You do not want to learn about what all a scorned woman can do! Pray for patience. Patience to discover who is correct for your loooong time spouse.
