Posted : 12 Mar, 2010 04:50 PM i would invest some of it (when money makes money there will be plenty to go around!) by building a house on my land (yes, MY land....close to the ocean :goofball:) and rent out part of it, i do live on a beeeeeeeeaautiful island! i would give some to my parents. and invest the some implimenting some inventions i made :rolleyes: yes i know... me me me. i would pay some of my tithe to the church i grew up in, the rest i would give to an orphan shelter on my island. i would put some in a travel fund and the rest would go into a fixed deposit with HIGH interest rates... :nahnah: nyanda Post Reply

But, I would have to give it a lot of prayer before deciding. I might end up investing and then giving on a regular basis to those two missionaries, rather than a lump sum. Post Reply

They are the only thing I owe and it just bothers me to no end to have to owe them money. Next would be to find a nice safe lil place to tuck it away and let it make more money. There is such a need for schools in many parts of the world. A million dollars isn't all that much in the US, but if it grows, the interest off of it could support a school or two down the road. Funny thing though...have y'all ever noticed that God always meets all of our needs? In today's world there is so much out there on the news about how bad things are. Yet, God continues to meet our needs, both big and small. We may not have all we want, but we do have all we need and sometimes a bit more. I have a tendency to forget about that. This week some things simply fell apart and there was no way for me to fix them. People at my university basically said good luck, because there is not an answer. However, today, God took over and the problem looks to be resolving. There IS an answer and He is the one who took care of things when nobody else could. How do folks survive without knowing and loving God? It just boggles the mind. Post Reply

Support some stuff as well, get some of the funds set up. I would also probably put it to good use for some missionaries. Help out all the ones we support. Post Reply
