Admin	Should guys give you flowers on a first date? Posted : 4 Aug, 2010 08:52 PM Just curious what the "in" thing is these days. I haven't been in the dating world that much. Is it expected that a guy bring you flowers on a first date, or is that mainly just an old fashion custom? I've heard various opinions. I think it's really sweet and romantic if they do cuz it shows that they set aside time to think of you and are thankful that you said "yes" to going on a date with them, but I don't expect it. Just curious what your opinions are. I posed this question to ladies, but gents, please feel free to answer to. Thanks :) Post Reply

I appreciate Tulip taking the time to respond, but yes, what a killjoy :) hahahaha. I love flowers too. I would be really touched if a guy gave me some or even just a single stem on a first date, but like many of you said, gifts aren't my love language either. Posted : 7 Aug, 2010 08:01 AM Before I met my x wife I had a friend from the Ukraine.I went to the summer camp she was working at.She had asked for post cards from the area I lived in.So, I had a whole stack of postcards for her.She was going to travel back to the Ukraine when she was done working for the summer. Katya and her friend Elena gave me postcards and nesting dolls - matrushkas as gifts. I was very impressed as they were.hey, I dated 2 girls at once. I took the all over for a day. Katya and I met again in the Ukraine.She gave me more kool gifts to take home. Taking a bunch of women some place by yourself is so fun.:hearts: Dennis Post Reply
