Ok, I've got a question. I notice that many/most female profiles don't look like much time was spent on them. This may be the case for guys, but I don't look at them, so I don't have a point of comparison. Unfinished sentences, very general interests, lots of "ask me"s rule the day. I'm trying to understand the approach. It must work because it seems that 90% of you are doing it. Could you help me understand why?

Well, I have changed my profile to say very little to discourage men from messaging me because I now have a boyfriend I met on here! But I personally don't really understand the "ask me" and all that... More often than not I see/hear women complaining of men who seem pushy and do nothing but ask questions, and now I wonder if those are the same women with the "ask me"s. Honestly, I agree that they probably don't have much comfort with who they are and/or just want to get "on the scene" as quickly and with as little effort as possible.

It seems with both male and female profiles that people are more concerned with sharing who they want YOU to be. How many of you have seen lengthy descriptions of what he/she wants in a partner, and then NO information about him/her? Seems cocky to me; "You're going to want to message me, but first you have to pass these tests."

I feel it's best to always be up front and out there in your profile, male or female, let people know your heart, what you like/love, what type of gal or guy you're looking for, etc. You don't have to share everything about yourself yet, but the basics, some of the most important information to know, shouldn't hurt anyone to share, and might just be the spark that lights the fire in your true love's heart!!!

Then again, I'm a guy who loves to communicate and share ideas and love with others by nature, reflecting Christ's heart and love through my own, with the help of the Holy Spirit. And having been given a gift for writing compliments this personality trait.
