You can do it here in forum or via message. I am on 5 dating sites hoping to make some female friends that might lead to friendships and possible dates. I have replied to several women's postings but no one ever replies back. Makes me wonder what is wrong with me lol, and it does get discouraging logging on time after time with no hi maybe or anything. So your opion is greatly appreceated and wanted. :bunny: Post Reply

Posted : 18 Jan, 2011 05:35 AM @twosparrows I live in Syria now, but I go to Iraq sometimes for my job demands that, It is really horrible what�s going on there, it�s not better-not even close I don�t want to talk about politics here because I have a very different view point and not everyone accept it�they like to believe what the TV says� TV always focus on the BAD side in everything (including the U.S Military) And yes it�s very hard to be a Christian in Iraq; I have had very bad experiences for that matter I don�t mind answering your questions� don�t worry : ) I have Arabic Bibles (lots of them) I have in English too. I don't want to put any pressure on you, but I am really interested in the truth as you see it, especially since you are Iraqi and a sister in Christ. I don't know if it would cause you troubles to talk of such things honestly on the internet in a predominantly Muslim country, so use your best judgment. However I am pretty sure I am not the only one interested in your opinion of what is really going on in the Middle East, the US, the good things going on, the bad things and things you wish would be changed or fixed. You might be surprised to know that many many American people know they cannot believe the Newspapers and TV News. Our government and mega corporations which own the Media have a un-holy alliance. Throw the Federal Reserve Bank into the mix and it is clear that the American people have lost control of their government in that they are being brainwashed into how to think and act. There are factions in our country that want the bible outlawed on grounds that it denounces homosexuality so therefore considered "hate speech". It would be laughable except they are making progress. Opps, sorry, I digress,.... I really would really like to hear more about how you see things in the Middle East, I think others in this forum are interested also. chuck Post Reply

I haven't been back in years but I have family there and some who have visited recently. Egypt, actually. Christians are vastly outnumbered and are not treated equally, from what I hear. Posted : 18 Jan, 2011 10:52 AM @MargoSolo Hi, I am very sorry about what is going on in Egypt; it�s really sad what happened lately, I pray your family is safe�same thing happened in Iraq on October in Sayidat Al Najat Church It�s a whole different thing when it comes to Egypt as it was like this since ages, in Iraq they start tracing Christians and kidnapping them, killing them since the American/Iraqi war started By the way I get lots of emails from Egyptian website telling stories about under aged Christian girls being kidnapped in their way home after school and the parents get a phone call saying your daughter is in the light now for knowing the right God! Posted : 18 Jan, 2011 11:01 AM @twosparrows You�re very welcome I can�t sum up the good/bad things in few lines, but� I will try to say what I have with a mind of heart Lots of good things American Military do over there besides their job (helping orphans, helping widowed women and sometimes cleaning the side walks) � everyone should be proud of the U.S Military and say God bless them all! Just month ago or so Americans helped over 22 orphans by making a party for them and giving them new shoes, clothes, coloring books�etc they also played with them, it was a great thing to do and it wasn�t the first time. Anyway, there are a lot of new constructions going on, and also lots of new companies are working to make Iraq a better place for everyone With that have been said, is it better since 2003? Up till now�not good at all it was much better before 2003 Not to mention the extremely UGLY things my men country does to Americans and it�s very sad seeing 18+ young men die in inclement ways. ~Rita Post Reply

Posted : 20 Jan, 2011 06:22 PM Hey brother, something I would consider is to tell the ladies where you are with the Lord and what type of walk you have with him, that is very important because I think they want to know what kind of a christian you are and where your faith is. As you chat and get to know them you can share interests, thats part of the fun of getting to know the other person. I don't know buts thats just my opinion, share where you are with God. God Bless.
