Phillippines?Posted : 26 Jan, 2011 04:50 AMYou ladies who are not from the Philippines may not be aware of this, but I would say about 40% of the women on here are from the Philippines. No kidding. Can one of the women from the Philippines explain to me why so many? Is the Philippines the worst place in the world to live or something? Just curious. |

Phillippines?Posted : 1 Sep, 2012 09:43 AMYou will find a good wife in a Filipina who will love you for life. However, if you will gain a friend in a Filipina, you will have a faithful and praying friend who wlll always care for you no matter who, what, where or how you are. |

Phillippines?Posted : 15 Sep, 2012 05:46 AMI am a Christian FIlipina and live here in the Philippines. I join here in this site because i do believe , this is the decent dating site for christian singles, not for separated and married . This site has a precious memory to me and I am blessed knowing there is a website like this and a kind of forum to explain my part as a filipina . There are so many guys too from different religious group. Each filipina women here have different intentions why they are here, mine is purely as single, praying fro what is GOD's will and plan for me, who to meet in this place, a friend, prayer partner or someone lese , I am single and this is a christian dating site . I am wondering now if filipinas are not welcome here. My advice we should be cautious each and everyone. Many man and women join in here , some are scammers . Better to be aware and be cautious , these are my concerns to all! |

Phillippines?Posted : 28 Oct, 2012 02:18 PMGood question. I know the Philippines has a huge population of over 90 million on a small island chain and they have many children per family. So all I can think of is population pressures. |

Phillippines?Posted : 28 Oct, 2012 04:42 PMThere are a huge number of Philippine women on this site. I would agree that 40%, or maybe somewhat less are from the Philippines. I would have to disagree with negative generalizations, which can be very dangerous to make. "Putting the elderly in nursing homes" is just another negative stereotype I hear from Philippine coworkers. It is a very small percentage, maybe 2% when I last heard, which was years ago. As far as kids calling their parents by their first name, that is also extremely rare and even Americans (at least those with manners, who are fewer and fewer) are shocked at that. Now, as concerns rude behavior by children, yes there are many rude children these days. Asia is no paradise, either. I taught English in South Korea and the kids in class were horrible or very well behaved (when the Korean teacher was there). |
