And i was wondering maybe if i led of with a simple little romantic poem?? Just something not to flowery or sugary just sweet and romantic.to show my romantic side. And then i could share a little bit about myself in the rest of the lettter. so would ladies respond to a letter like that?? Post Reply

Personally, I'm not much for poetry, and getting a poem in a first message would probably seem creepy. But that's just me. I've heard over and over that "women like men to read them poetry", so maybe writing them poetry couldn't hurt either. Good luck! Post Reply
View Profile History	should i open with a poem Posted : 16 Jun, 2011 07:31 PM I've sent plenty of poems on a first email;but not to pursue a lady,usually to give support or comfort if their profile 'stirs the flames of poetry' in me.Sometimes it's just their beauty and I will tell them,usually,that they are too far away(usually true) or simply 'out-of-my league' so as not to make them uncomfortable.Some I was not interested in but just wanted to cheer up,while some I would be interested in but made it appear otherwise;you get the picture.Just give them a way out,if they are interested,they will let you know,which has (is) happened,but with me in NS,every body here is far away,lol.(except 2)I have gotten at least a 'thank you' from them.And have made a few friends.Let your feelings do the typing.G'luck,God bless.
