bookwatcher View Profile History	Winks Posted : 5 Jan, 2012 10:22 PM for me i think a wink says that the female is interested in you and feels more comfortable sending a wink as an indicator instead of writing because it is easier to get rejected by an ignored wink than an ignored email. plus some girls are shy and dont know what to say, letting the male take over the conversation first makes it more comfortable and easier to write back. We (and by we I mean 'I'!) still want the man to initiate things, but it's difficult on this online platform (not that I'm any sort of expert), so by sending you a wink, we are just highlighting our profile to you, so that you can have a look and send mail if you like what you read. They put me on their favorites list, but they won't talk to me--EVER! It's very frustrating. I don't do that to someone who shows a little interest and sincerely wants to talk to me. If I get a wink from someone, as long as that man isn't a scammer, I will send them one back and send them a message in hopes to get one back and maybe continue on from there. I don't like it when someone plays with my emotions. That's so wrong! I want to meet my special somebody some day, but it doesn't look like I'll do it on this site. God Bless You! Maybe she hasn't been online, maybe she was initially interested and is no longer interested for whatever reason. If she doesn't write back she's likely not interested or too busy... if she is interested, she'll eventually write back. Post Reply

Sometimes, when I get a wink back...I feel kind of stuck...I much rather they would write me, if they are interested..If they don't write I ususally don't continue my efforts...I just think they are probably being kind by sending a wink back.
