... STILL tickle your funny bones every time you watch them again or even just THINK about them?

One of my most recent LAFF FESTS has been courtesy of the film "FAILURE TO LAUNCH" starring Matthew McConaghey and Sarah Jessica Parker!!! :dancingp::laugh::yay::applause: Its got some worldy philosophies in it, of course, but .... its still just SOOOOOOOOOOOOOO BAREFOOT FUNNY and HONEST and has One of the Barefoot Funniest and Happiest Endings I've ever seen in a Barefoot Favorite Movie!!! :dancingp::yay::applause:

Another REALLY FUNNY LAFF FEST I've had MY funny bones mercilessly TICKLED by is the Barefoot Romantic Comedy titled "HITCH" starring Will Smith!!!:rolleyes: What a GOOFBALL MOVIE it is too, and soooooooooooooooo HONEST about modern-day romantic relationships, the ins and outs and all-abouts they tend to present all of us with!!! :yay::applause:

OK ... there are a couple of my "FUNNIEST MOVIES" ... now, your turn ...

Love,

Steve

Barefoot, I like that you always try to see things in a positive light, but why do you present yourself as a Brand? Why not just ask what our favourite movie is, instead of a "Barefoot" fav? It has the (I'm sure unintentional) effect of pushing people away. It feels like a facade.

Just trying to be honest and helpful.

I love Brendan Fraser's sarcasm in "The Mummy", the gags in "Shrek" and the references in "Scary Movie 3".

BTW, what is it with the whole barefoot thing? I think you explained it once before but I've forgotten since, and for the sake of the newbies...

Everyone who wonders about "the whole barefoot thing" should go and read my profile ... "the whole barefoot thing" is adequately and lovingly explained in my profile for everyone to learn and understand.

I'm definitely NOT thinking about presenting myself as a "BRAND" but just being uniquely myself and enjoying using my favorite word "barefoot" happily and positively as a uniquely special adjective in front of other words to add special emphasis to certain ones that are special in some context or other to ME!!! So ... that's surprising to me that you would feel, "trustandbelieve", that my using my favorite word "barefoot" a LOT or any at all, was presenting myself as a "BRAND" ... but, if that's what comes across, well ... like Paul McCartney sings in "Silly Love Songs", WHAT'S WRONG WITH THAT?!!! :dancingp::bouncy::rocknroll: We are ALL like a UNIQUE BRAND in one way or another, anyway, being the unique creations God has made us to be, "branded" by His unique gfts and personalities that He is ever molding into being uniquely HIS as we grow in Christ-likeness together and at our own pace, as we allow Him access to our hearts and lives to influence and create us into all that His heart desires for each of us to be and become in His timing for us in doing becoming!!! :dancingp::yay::applause:

So ... please go to my profile, if you're a "newbie" not used to my using my favorite word "barefoot" a LOT in my posts here, so you can learn and understand more about this, as well as, things you haven't learned about me here that make me the unique "BRAND" it seems I am, now that we all think about this in the RIGHT CONTEXT ... all of you are unique "BRANDS" too in YOUR hearts and personalities ... we can't HELP but be, and there's NOTHING wrong with that, is there?!!! :rocknroll::rocknroll::yay::applause:

Love, Your "Unique Brand" Brother in Christ,

Steve

Thanks for sharing what some of YOUR favorite funny movies are, dkj255!!! :hearts:

I LOVE BRENDAN FRASER TOO!!! :yay::applause: He really has a gift for comedy and giving his audience a GOOD LAFF in his movies!!!:ROFL::dancingp::yay::applause: Two of my "Bareoot Favorites" in which Brendan does this are: "GEORGE OF THE JUNGLE" and "WITH HONORS" ... and "MRS. WINTERBOURNE" has a Barefoot Special Place in My Barefoot Romantic Heart too because of Brendan's male lead performance in it ... otherwise, I have mixed feelings about this movie ... I LOVE THE LOVE STORY, but not the use of some of the language in it ... they could have made JUST AS ENJOYABLE AND ROMANTIC A MOVIE without trying to get the so-called more "adult" rating.

Love, Your Brother in Christ,

Steve

Personally, I'd rather be myself than a brand. Especially a rather creepy one.

I Love You, Man - starring Paul Rudd and Jason Segel. No matter how many times I watch it, it still cracks me up

I agree on Madea...omgoodness people...when my son and his fiance brought one of her movies over to watch I thought, aw this isn't going to be good. SHE CRACKS ME UP!! Now, there are good morals in the movies, but I have to say I don't like the way she acts like a Christian, and then uses profanity. But yes, some of the morals are good. I can't help but crack up when I hear her say "Good morting".... lol....or the way she says hello.

My dad loved Dennis the Menace...he laughed so hard he was almost crying.

Point is....if a movie is funny...it's fun for everybody. I LOVE to watch a funny movie...every once in a while I'll watch America's funniest home videos, and while not all of it is funny...if a kid is sitting at the kitchen table nodding off because they're sleepy...and the next time they do it their face lands directly in their plate, well, I cackle, I don't giggle people...

LAFFIN IS FUN!! Loosen up peoples! And let's keep an eye on what we watch, then have fun.

 Good times....being at home with my kids watching a movie and everybody laughs, or they tell me "mom it's not that funny" because I'm the one having a stroke cuz I'm laughin so hard. ....

God bless you all.
