Posted : 17 Oct, 2012 06:31 AM I've been on this site since 07 and no luck finding a long term committed relationship.I message women on here.....no reply..at all....never. What am I doing wrong? Can someone give me advice on my profile? I know , I know i've heard it before: Be patient and God will bless you etc. Not saying those things arent tru but c'mon man really! Whats wrong with these women on? I'm not saying I'm Gods gift to women or that im all that. I'm just trying to meet a descent woman. Not a super model or a perfect ten just a woman who wants a committed relationship and likes me for me.....ill get off my little soap box now Post Reply

While I'm sure it occasionally happens, I think this website is, unfortunately, a real long shot for finding someone compatible. Personally, I would encourage you to spend very little energy on searching here and spend a ton of energy in the 3-D world where personal connections happen in a more natural way. While I enjoy reading these forum posts (when they aren't so dead), I have long since given up any hope of finding a husband on CDFF. But, if I never marry again, it will be OK. You, on the other hand, have your whole life ahead of you and would surely make a great husband to some worthy young lady. Do not hide your light under a bushel, or waste valuable time on a dating website that isn't working for you. Get out there in the real world and dazzle them with the genuine, kind, Christian man that you are! And may God guide your heart and mind and bring you the desires of your heart! Post Reply

I mostly get girls from the Philippines and Africa checking me out and showing interest in me, but I made it clear that I can't really do that at the moment. Post Reply

I seriously doubt it is you, nor is it really the girls. And I agree with the user that mentioned the foreigners. That is the majority of response I get as well. I've had more interaction searching endlessly at plenty of fish until I stumble upon a profile that some mention of being a believer! Clearly it is a precursor/advertisement in disguise to Christian Mingle. Have you tried any of the paid dating sites? I was on eHarmony for 6 months and the matches were truly decent. If someone is paying for a website, they are more inclined to log in. Also this site doesn't have a smart phone app etc. If you are a winker, (hahah sounds like I''m from the UK or something!) go check your sent winks and see how many have actually been received. I just looked at mine earlier and only 1 out of 7 over the course of a month and a half have been received. Best of luck! Post Reply
