Admin	I wish I was an angel. Posted : 7 Jun, 2013 05:00 PM Ok. so, I visit a random profile. There is nothing wrong with the profile. The person on the picture looks normal, decent. I read her profile, and it looks ok. But I feel exhausted. I came home from work. I took shower. And here I am reading profiles. I would like to click on wink, but I know that most women don't like that. I would like to send a message, but I don't have a "standard message" that I send out to random people. I always write something new, something different to each person. And after awhile, I get tired. I lose my creativity. I am out of ideas. I wish I could just say "hi" and press "send." Sometimes I do that, but I know I'll probably get no reply. And you're right. If you just say "hi," you'll get no reply. Some women get hundreds of messages a day. LOL Why waste my time? But I know I have to write some terrific poem or something really funny or really attention grabbing, and that stuff is time consuming! I know that if I don't write something unique, my message will be deleted. So, what to do? Any suggestions? Any ideas? I wish I was a woman! Then I wouldn't have to worry about what to say or what to write! Hahahaha Men would just line up in front of me, and they all would want to talk to me. If I wanted to have a conversation with a certain man, just saying "hi" would be more than enough. There would be no need for me to think about what to say next. There would be no need to come up with clever pickup lines and funny stories, and flirting. It seems to me that men do all the hard work, and women just have to pick. Women are relaxed and have a great time. Men sweat blood to know what to say next. This is so unfair! LOL Given the fact that I am a man and this probably won't change anytime soon, what should I do? I don't have a billion dollars in the bank. And I don't have the greatest mind and huge vocabulary. I don't spit out poems easily. English is my second language. Also, I am not a French chef. I am not Mozart. And I am not a great artist like Michelangelo. What in the world can I do to appear special, to stand out? This search is so exhausting. Sometimes I wish I didn't need anyone. Consider an angel, for example. Jesus said that angels do not marry, because they have no need for that. They just exist, and they are perfectly satisfied the way they are. We, on the other hand, need to be loved by other human beings. And even God himself said, "it is not good for man to be alone." I think, if I could be an angle, then I would feel totally free! It would be a day of freedom! It would be a day of liberation! I could spend time with things I love to do instead of wasting my time here, trying to find my other half. Oh, well, we're mortal humans. :P I wish I was an angel. Post Reply

Posted : 9 Jun, 2013 04:26 PM Don't be so rough on yourself - you don't know that every girl you see has a lot of messages, sometimes just asking her something from her profile to show her you've ACTUALLY read it could go a long way, much longer than just hihihihihihihi..... if she says she likes reading, find out if she knows about the new christian bookstore or that your church has a wonderful christian library - doesn't have to be much, but if you're interested in her, show it. don't just go fishing to see what will bite - because we're more in tune to that everything else. Ladies have it hard too though, if you have a hundred guys trying to get your attention, or force their way into your life, that is probably equally draining, etc. I think the social constructs that we have in real life do not play out well online, and that's where the problems start. I got tired of it and just waited for women who were outgoing enough to actually send me some show of interest. Make your profile as interesting and honest and simple as you can, don't put your whole life on there, and just take it easy. :peace::peace: Post Reply
