View Profile History	Men with both ears pierced Posted : 24 Oct, 2013 06:12 PM Hi Matt, I know you're asking the girls this question and it's possible some people might think my long hair and jewelry qualifies me as such. I think it is possible that some Christians believe that getting a tattoo or piercing would be something the Bible forbids but I am not sure where this comes from. In any case I am very certain that piercings are no indication of a person's moral character. It's more likely just an expression of who they are. I have many friends that are Christians that have piercings and tattoos even a pastor friend too. I doubt that there is anything immoral about it. I personally make jewelry for men and women. I started because I couldn't find any style of jewelry that I would wear so now I make my own. My left ear is pierced and I always wear a dangling ear ring with stone and metal beads on it. I think I have about 30 of them so far and I'll make more. So I'd say, as has been expressed in previous posts here, that it is a matter of taste. Or in my case, test. i.e. if a woman doesn't like my earring or necklace then there's a good chance she won't like other things about me. Post Reply

IMO, once we get past the need to dress all of God's people in the way that generations past dictated based on their understanding of salvation, then, we can better represent the truth. Post Reply

The music they listen to, the culture they grow up with, all decide how much they will accept or be offended by 'out of the norm' things like piercings, tatoos, alcohol consumption, drug use, cigarette use... Ear piercing isn't that different to some than smoking is to others. Those who have/do it, generally are more comfortable towards their partner having it. Post Reply
