Is there something too blunt in it? I know what I am looking for so I try to be to the point without being rude. Just looking for the ladys input here on the wording and presentation..

Thanks and G-d bless

I've not read your profile, but my motto, is keep it real! If they can't handle the truth, then they are not the one. :)

i believe your profile should attract several women. Maybe have a few more pictures, if comfortable, one with your child. Your age range is open so that allows more opportunities. Your grammar is good for the ones with that preference. I don't "get" the use of G-d. Others may be in my same boat.

Remember, i don't believe this website is too active. So you may not be getting many responses just for that reason.

"G-d" is how I learned to spell the name at a Messianic seminary school. It is out of respect and reverence for G-d. If you look at Messianic or Jewish websites or print material you will find this is the norm. So I picked it up and haven't stopped using it since.

I've not read your profile.

Your G_d made me wonder - "why can't you spell it out?" :glow:

Okay I will come out and say it. But promise there will be no hard feelings okay? Since I'm very straight forward I will tell you what I believe to be the truth, it doesn't mean other's will agree. Your profile is too long, I tried to read it all the way throught, but half way I just decided I'll get back to it some other time. It sounds like you're a great guy, but most women are just looking to get an overview of who you are, if interested they can find out the rest by chatting with you.

God bless you my brother in Christ.

OK, I looked at your profile (I have my settings so it doesn't show, though), and I don't think it is too blunt. If you want to see blunt, look at mine! If you have preferences, beliefs, etc. that you aren't willing to compromise, you should be up front about that.

I was a bit disturbed by your use of G-d. Around here, that's the "polite" way to refer to a bad word. I read your other posts, and I do understand your reasoning for using G-d instead of spelling out God's name; however, at first glance, it would really bother me.

Just my thoughts! Good luck on here.

Keeping it in the proper context here is why I write G-d even though I am not Jewish.

As a general rule of thumb, practicing Jews do not write the name God because of the laws delivered by Moses which are found in Deuteronomy 12:3-12:4. In this passage, the Jews are instructed to destroy anything and everything associated with their rivals gods, and they are not to let this happen to their own God. Writing G-d instead of God is one way to prevent others from destroying the name of God.
