"You win five million dollars from the Publisher's sweepstakes, and the same day as that big Ed guy gives you the check, aliens land on the Earth and say they're going to blow up the world in two days. What are you gonna do with the money?"

Okay, just kidding... That's not the question... (though you may certainly provide an answer, if you so desire) What I really want to know is this:

WHAT IS THE ONE THING THAT YOU WISH MEN UNDERSTOOD ABOUT YOU (OR, WOMEN IN GENERAL) BETTER?

{quotes taken from the ever-so-lovely movie "Heathers"}

If something is bothering me, I don't want an answer or a solution to whatever it is, I just need to talk about what is going on in my mind.

A lot of guys do seem to have a difficult time understanding that, Katie!

I wish guys understood that I'm always going to be on a healthy diet of some sort...not because I think I'll ever actually be thin, but because I just want (and need) to eat healthy and live a healthy lifestyle.

@pianogal- Yeah, a lot of guys do seem to have trouble understanding diets and/or weight issues. Most guys seem to like women who are hearty eaters and not picky, but then complain about the weight and/or health consequences. It's like they don't make the connection. I am working on establishing a healthy eating pattern and other healthy habits too. I think the important thing is to focus on doing healthy things and not so much on what our bodies look like. But that is me being a hypocrite, because I certainly have my body image issues...

Okay,Im buttin in,LOl

For a long time I had a weight requirement on my profile,I have recently dropped it for several reasons

1.I have seen some heavier women lately that I could be attracted to

2.I realize as I get older, and walk with Christ longer,Im more attracted to the inside than the outside

Also men are visual....and we are logical problem solvers,I still have to try and not solve womens problems and just listen with empathy!

In Christ

steve

p.s Pixy and Pianogirl:you are both awesome Christian chicks and any guy would be lucky to have either of you, weight issues or not!:glow:

Ok, I think I finally thought of one.

I wish men would understand that I need nurturing and encouraging...... just as much as they do.

well, when someone tells me their problems I'm a "fixer", too.

people get annoyed with me I'm sure but i either help them fix it or I'll just pray for them on the spot.

with MEN...I wish they understood that just because I'm having a bad day, dont make it worse by staying 100 feet away and keeping to yourself. at least try to make me feel better, sheesh!!! come and nurture me and if I push you away, that doesnt mean I dont care, it means try harder!!!!

oh gosh, no wonder they cant figure us out, lol

I'm with River...

If I've pushed away the object of my affection because I'm upset, I want him to come after me... woo me... hold me...
