Admin	How do you know when you're truely in love with someone? Posted : 7 Nov, 2010 07:14 AM I'm still getting my head around this one. I've felt like I've been in love before but I always ask myself is this really real. I mean I know love is a choice. I have felt deeply for someone before as far as I know. I loved her personality, her face was just so beautiful and full of light to me, and I simply couldn't stop thinking about her. Like she made me feel happy and I wanted to be a better person even more because of her. I'm kinda in a deboccle right now about what is the right thing to do and how I really feel. I hope to find the right woman for me and spend my life with her but I can't help but wonder how will I know she's the right one and that I truely love her. I want her to be the most beautiful girl in the world to me and I never want to desire another, not ever! I do sometimes have wondering eyes but I pray God sends the right someone into my life and once I have her my eyes will no longer need to wonder. Post Reply

I mean I haven't had much luck with the ladies, at all really. I mean I'm really scared to invest my love and time into a girl who might just give all herself to another. I think God is telling me to just love him for now and focus on him instead of looking for a wife. I can't help it though, a part of me really wants someone and soon. Whatever I do though it just feels counter productive because I'm one tracked mind and if I focus on say my career life instead of my love life then I may never find someone. I guess that's all I can really do though, focus on God first and then what matters to me but it still feels as if I'm never going to find someone and finally be happy. Especially finding someone who will be loving and faithful, etc. It's like the person I want only exists in my imagination. Post Reply

I was dating a guy, but didn't know if I loved him or not. She had just gotten engaged to a guy she'd known for about a year. I asked her how she knew that she loved him. She told me that her mom gave her this advice: When you can answer both of these questions with certainty, you know you are in love. 1) Do you want to live WITH him for the rest of your life? (Correct answer is "yes" and probably won't be too hard to answer.) 2) Would you be able live WITHOUT him for the rest of your life? (Correct answer is "no" and is harder to answer.) I could answer "yes" to the first question, but I couldn't answer "no" to the second. It was a wake up call for me to realize that while I liked the guy just fine, and while I was probably in the process of falling in love, I did not truly LOVE him yet. It sounds confusing until you really have to ask yourself these questions, and they probably don't always work. But it made sense to me at the time. Post Reply

It could just be your needs talking, etc. I mean do we ever truely love another? Maybe we do but do we ever fully love them? It's human nature to make bonds and break bonds. Love just seems like an idea to me. It's what we call it when we're with someone we love to be with but that doesn't mean we don't have doubts, etc, fears. I probably have more fears than doubts I guess. Post Reply

There is.a saying concerning horse training when things get all messed up : " You don't have to have it today". So take a step back and a deep breath letting it out slowly; relax in knowing God has your back. Just let things work out and release your fear they might not ; so that you will be able relax your grasp. One last horse training saying: "Don't try to make things happen; let them happen" Post Reply
