HOW MANY TIMES HAVE YOU "FALLIN' IN LOVE" IN YOUR LIFE AND WHAT WAS IT ABOUT THAT PERSON THAT CAUSED YOUR HEART TO "FALL IN LOVE" WITH HIM OR HER?Posted : 15 Nov, 2010 07:13 AMNever. I think I've come close twice, but neither were truly "love"...and one of those was in a case where interest was never returned, so it was definitely just "infatuation." |

HOW MANY TIMES HAVE YOU "FALLIN' IN LOVE" IN YOUR LIFE AND WHAT WAS IT ABOUT THAT PERSON THAT CAUSED YOUR HEART TO "FALL IN LOVE" WITH HIM OR HER?Posted : 15 Nov, 2010 07:29 AMI thought I was in love with my high school girlfriend. I was pretty bad off when we broke up. Then I found out in college that other girls would date me too, and I realized that I hadn't been in love with her. I just liked that she liked me. |

HOW MANY TIMES HAVE YOU "FALLIN' IN LOVE" IN YOUR LIFE AND WHAT WAS IT ABOUT THAT PERSON THAT CAUSED YOUR HEART TO "FALL IN LOVE" WITH HIM OR HER?Posted : 17 Nov, 2010 12:08 PMAs a young person, "falling in love" was easy. I was always looking for that something that was missing in my home life. As I grew older and met and married a man that I discovered I didn't really love, but being married seemed like the right thing to be at that time in my life. Oh I loved him, but not that deep, searing love that you're speaking of, Barefoot. Then I met my late husband with his big, generous heart. I remember the feeling of utter joy when I would think of him. How my face would light up when he called or I saw him. He loved me better than anyone ever had in my lifetime. My heart felt as if it would explode from the love and affection I felt for him. Even after 10 years of being together, the last three of which he struggled with drug and alcohol addiction which ultimately took his life with a sudden massive heart attack at the age of 45, I still loved him. The day of his death, prior to learning of his demise, I'd made up my mind that I was filing for divorce, not because I no longer loved him, but because of the lifestyle he'd chosen to live. I was ill equipped to fight those demons any longer. But I never stopped loving him. |
