Something to think about...

...Jesus Christ was a man ( and God).

He had two Natures (Divine and Human). As a man Jesus Offered Himself as Sacrifice for us. Jesus offered to DIE for us.

Jesus offered His Life for our Soul's Salvation.

Our Military men and Women also offer their Lives for our Freedom.

Now I am not comparing them to Jesus. There is no comparison at all. What Jesus did is way far more Important and fareaching. What Christ Suffered for all of mankind is Immeasurable.

Yet it is something to think about...isn't it? Your fellow man or woman...willing to Sacrifice their Lives for you. Also our Police and Firemen and EMTs and Doctors and Nurses and all people that place themselves in Harm's Way for others.

They deserve Our Prayers and Our Thanks!

Just...Something to Think About.

You mind if I only comment on one?

On a side note: I wonder if the people of Iraq are happy with their new goverment? I wonder if they appreciate the lives given for theirs. It is such a shame that you don't hear much about it. You would think with the lives Americans have offered we would be hearing more about the fruits of our sacrifice.

Meh...we went over there to try to kill/stop terrorists. The freedom of Iraq/Afghanistan was a pleasant side effect, but I don't think they're "happy" about how their freedom came about. Maybe if they had asked for it, but we were kinda pushy. Not that I'm complaining, I think it needed to be done, just like if Christians started blowing themselves up to kill random people. It ain't right.

Two,

The media won't report successes. They want to focus on the negatives. Since it was a Republican President that was in office when we toppled Saddam Hussein -- they will never report things like business has improved dramatically and that the adverage citizen is way better off then they were before Saddam.

We've been a Democracy for over 200 years and we still have not gotten it right. They been a Democracy for just a few years...give them time, but there are so many Scared and Angry Muslims surrounding that country that Do Not Want a Democracy so close to them.

They do not want their oppressed citizens seeing how much better off their neighbors are and how much more freedom they have.

You have to read the conservative papers or go online to hear "the rest of the story".
