IMMEDIATELY i know when i like someone..and there is is this one Christian girl who is so gorgeous and smart and funny to me...but i barely know here and i know myself and i usually over do it by writing too much about random nothings..some girls find it cute(i cant help being me and when im happy i WRITE ALOT) and some American girls find it to be too much and it they rather get a short message/text....what should i do? In a sain world you'd think a girl loves to read or notice someone taking to the ink to get a smile or two out of her..but i don't know..girls nowadays are you fast and this on is 21 but she's very mature...i rather a friendship but, however...when i do read her page..it just melts my heart...ahh forget it lol..im hopeless...i hope everyone finds what their looking for on here and God Bless you and make someone smile today ok guys!!

So you've found that writing too much can be a turn off for girls. It would seem that the best solution would be to write less. If you don't leave any mystery about yourself, she has nothing to figure out about you. She has nothing to ask questions about.

I know it's hard, but like Proverbs 16 says, it's better to have self-control than to conquer a city.

I agree with tulip, I'm a sucker for a good scripture!

I suggest the advance and retreat method.

Ernesto,

What the two-two's (2Lip and 2Sparrow) told you is good advice. Imagine your first dance with this lady...I would think that you'd prefer a "slow dance". You are holding her close...you can smell her perfume...her hair. At this moment you want everything to s-l-o-w d-o-w-n. Going slow allows you to savor every moment.

When you write at first...do the same...slow down! Think about every word. Choose your words carefully. Say in just a few words the many Emotions your Heart feels.

If you have a word processor, write it out on it first...then copy and paste it into this site.

Remember...slow and Easy.

You're welcome man. As far as more practical advice goes, as a general rule, your reply should be about the same length as her message. Think about the purpose of each sentence. How important is it really? If you took it out, would it change the meaning of the idea you are trying to communicate? If not, take it out. Minimize how much you talk about yourself. Read and re-read your message before you send it to make sure you aren't going over the top.

Also, focus on correct grammar and punctuation. It's a small thing that will score you points with the ladies.

I second what Tulip said about grammar and punctuation. I'm not perfect in that area by any means, but when I receive a message that is full of obvious errors, I will be far less likely to respond favorably.

Bless ya,Blusun! i agree with anyone here. But most importantly,be yourself but do'nt be too serious & dramatic or too funny. That in my book is a turoff. Can't bore her with too many sentences dealing with one subject (eg the weather etc) & go on & be too funny & not be serious when needed to be.I once learned that the hard way.

I would say, just be you. Do what you know and in the end, if she likes you she will take you for you and not make you put up a front.
