Posted : 21 Nov, 2010 08:49 AM Who would you pick to play a comic book superhero in a movie series about that favorite superhero of yours? I think Ryan Reynolds makes an EXCELLENT "Green Lantern"!!! My Mom and I used to LOVE to take turns reading my "Green Lantern" and other superhero comic books that I collected when I was growing up!!! :hearts::hearts::hearts: Talk about MANLY fun, twosparrows and Tulip!!! Boy into Man enjoyment that we still enjoy as adults!!! ... and WOMANLY fun for the girls still!!! :yay::yay::yay::applause::applause::applause: Other superhero favorites of mine are BLACKHAWK and THE FLASH ... I was thinking that Tom Cruise might make a GREAT "Blackhawk", the leader of the BLACKHAWK team of heroes in a series of movies about them, how 'bout you? I'd LOVE to see a series of movies about this favorite comic book hero team of mine!!! :rocknroll::rocknroll::rocknroll: ... they made a one-season TV series about THE FLASH starring John Wesley Shipp which was pretty good, I thought ... but they still need to present this superhero to the silver screen with someone just right to play him in a movie series about THE FLASH ... who do you think among today's movie actors would make the PERFECT "FLASH"? Posted : 21 Nov, 2010 01:27 PM I'm no good at picking actors to fiill certain roles. I, too, loved reading Green Lantern stories. My favorites were The Justice League stories. They used to have a Saturday morning cartoon, also. Loved that group. I have a friend that has always liked Batman best. She had lots of Batman things around. I asked her once why she chose Batman out of all the other super heros there were. She said she had always liked him because he didn't have special powers. He was just a regular guy who did his best for justice - using his own brains and muscle - and no super powers. I thought that was a good observation. I still like Superman better, though. :laugh: Post Reply

THEY would make a BAREFOOT GREAT movie series team too, like they made with The Fantastic Four, the X-Men etc, huh? The BLACKHAWK team too were usually without any super powers of their own unless they somehow acquired them by an experimental accident or some other way ... they usually did like Batman and came up with special weapons to use to battle the bad guys, aliens and monsters of various kinds the writers came up with. I'm glad to learn that "Green Lantern" is a favorite of yours too, godslamb!!! (And I still remember your real name, but didn't know if you like to share it here) Steve Post Reply
