Posted : 25 Mar, 2011 06:32 AM I feel very disrespected when guys email me commenting on my photos only; Unfortunately, they are much more than those who would write me asking , or complimenting something I listed on my page. Any human being is a combination of mental, spiritual, and physical aspects. What if I am an attractive girl, but dumb; or pretty& smart, but of low spirit, would that be any good??! I just hate it when most men these days put that much of their attention on physical aspects, rather than Spiritual & inner beauty. Ladies, does it bother u too? Does it make u wonder what happened to the godly men? Post Reply

You know, it's so hard to find Godly men who will first notice your personality, your heart. When someoene really does look past the picture of the woman you look like, to see the woman you are they will stand out ever more to you. When a man cares what the Lord thinks he will try to see you for all you are, not just your physical appearance. Because God doesn't care about beauty, or riches, or anything on this earth, they are all temporary. Good men will try to get past the shallow surface, and really want to know more about you. Posted : 26 Mar, 2011 06:51 AM Through I will admit that it's true that many of us guys are guilty of not looking beyond the photos, I'm going to put myself out on a limb and take the chance of bursting your bubble by saying that women are just as guilty of being as shallow as men are. I don't know how it is where you're from, but all the time I notice that a lot of christian women today are just as stuck up and shallow as anybody today. For the record, I personally am not as shallow as some men are. I myself have found myself attracted to women of all body type including the "heavier set" and women who may not be fit for the cover for Sports Illustrated swimsuit issue, but I don't really care what others think because I'm a firm believer that real beauty is in the eye of the beholder. And yet, I have dealt with so many times christian women having such a stuck up attitude toward me and acting like I don't even exist because I'm not some pretty boy Brad Pitt look-alike, etc. So you ladies are just as guilty. And JJ, you probably aren't less shallow. You most likely just find different attributes attractive than your friends. Post Reply

Posted : 26 Mar, 2011 03:56 PM Most of the guys I know actually had a lot more to say about my profile, than any of my pictures, and I was totally happy for that. But I'd never fault a guy for saying I was beautiful or the first thing he noticed about me was how I looked. -The first- thing the guys see -are- pictures...and the site even says that profiles with pictures will get the most messages. So eh... everyone does it..just important to look at someone's heart too. Post Reply
