What girls look for depends upon each girl. Those who are Christians look at the heart of a man. We look for someone whose a leader, caring, gentle, and yet able to protect. We don't look for someone who is walked all over. We don't want someone whose a bad guy either. Meaning, someone who tends to abusive, over controling, or not following God. Sometimes we do fall for the bad guys, because of the glitz, but in reality, we want someone who will love us for who we are. Post Reply

Girls have a way of knowing when a guy is trying to be whatever he thinks she wants him to be and girls don't respect that behavior. . . . And of course never stop trying to be the best man God would have you to be. Let your motivation and focus be on Him and you will be ready when that special girl comes along. Let your confidence come from Christ and not on people may think about you . . . especially girls! :rolleyes: Post Reply

Sure they want a kind and caring man, but that is never enough, since there are so many nice guys out there that women ignore. It seems to me what women want is for us guys to somehow magically just know what they want. No one can ever do that. Post Reply

How do you become a strong Christian man? Well first of all, you have to seek your satisfaction in Christ. No woman can ever fill that hole in your heart the way He can. I highly recommend reading "Don't Waste Your Life" by John Piper because it's quite short, but it'll challenge you to find ALL of your satisfaction in Christ. There's also a book called "Raising a Modern Day Knight" on raising Christian boys that I think describes Biblical manhood quite well. He breaks it down into four points: Lead courageously, reject passivity, accept responsibility, and seek the greater reward. The whole "not getting walked all over" thing applies to the first two, I think. Repeat those to yourself all day, every day. Write them over your mirror. Write them in your journal. Doodle them on your notes. Basically, commit them to memory so much so that they implant themselves into your mind. Finally, go read "The Silence of Adam" by Larry Crabb. There's really too much there for me to summarize on here. I can guarantee that it will change your life though. Those books are only like 200 pages each, so they're pretty short and easy to read.
