WHAT IS the most interesting thing about a guy could put in his profile?
Hmm. Well, there are many interesting things that he could put. Here is what I'd like him to address:
1. Where is he at in his life right now? If he's college, what he studying? Is he involved in ministry? Which ministry and why? What kind of basic stuff makes up his everyday life.
2. Where is he going? What does he think his future looks like? Does he have plans? What are they? How does he go about deciding his future? Does he seem to be taking a God-centered approach to decision-making, or is it all me-centered? How does a wife (and possibly children) fit into his future? Is he preparing to be a husband and father? Does he really have room in his life for those things?
3. Who is he? What is his character and personality like? What his relationship with God like?
4. What is he looking for in a wife and what does he desire for his future marriage/family to look like.
5. Randomness. I like to see fun and random facts strewn in there =)
WHAT IS the most attractive thing about his relationship with God?
Well, I look for evidence that he truly does have a relationship with God. To be very blunt here, there are many who profess to be Christians who are, in fact, going to hell. A lot of people profess to be Christians, but never truly made a salvation decision for Christ. So, discussing our testimonies and our theology would be part of an early conversation. It is attractive to me when I see that a guy agrees with the Bible, and that he takes it seriously to the point where he actually obeys it. I want a man who uses his Bible daily, not just for his "daily quiet time," but as a resource that gets opened throughout the day, as decisions come up and as emotions flare up. I'm also looking for someone who is growing in his relationship with God... someone who recognizes that sanctification is a process and is doing what it takes to press forward in that. Lastly, I am looking for someone who is humble and submissive (to God). I want to know that my future husband will submit to Christ, because I don't want to submit to someone who is off doing his own thing.
WHAT IS something that you look for when a guy messages you?
Well, I'm looking to see if there is any evidence that he has actually read my profile (because, honestly, if he can't even take the time to read my profile, we're not going to make it as a couple). I'm also looking to see if he "gets" me. I'm looking for someone who is cut from the same cloth as I am. I want my future husband and I to have a deep understanding of each other. I love the familiarity that comes with being similar. I like to be able to talk to a guy and not have to give him long-winded explanations. I want him to get me and my personality enough that he gets what I'm saying before I've given a lengthy explanation. I've only met one guy like that, and he's amazing, and we're friends. And I now know that this is something that I can't live without in a marriage relationship. We must be cut from the same cloth. So, I guess would say that a guy should be able to express the connection that he felt when he read my profile. He should explain why he likes me and why he feels that we're compatible.
WHAT IS one thing that makes you want to smile every time you talk to a guy?
Well, if I'm interested in him, it doesn't take much to get a smile out of me. I love a good sense of humour, but he certainly doesn't have to be silly/funny all of the time. Really, just knowing that I'm talking to someone who genuinely cares for me and is interested in getting to know me, makes me happy and smiley =)

Well, I could answer this at least a hundred different ways, but I love the stability. In a world that is always changing and with a crazy life full of mishaps and mistakes, it is comforting to know that God is constant and that He's available to me 24/7.

That's a hard question to answer. Hmm. I think the most interesting thing a guy could put would be what his passion is. Where is his heart? For some it would be helping the homeless, others missions, teaching, etc. Things like that.

That he is walking with God and not just saying it. However, the only real way to know this is through communication and observation of said guy.

That they actually have looked at my profile. What they say, tells me they have looked at my profile. Unless we have already been messaging for awhile, then it's just those little personal things he does.
WHAT IS one thing that makes you want to smile every time you talk to a guy?
When he specifically says or does something to make my day.

That I'm learning to become more of what God wants me to be, even if it's going slow at times.(Sigh, I really hate having to learn patience.)

To me, the most interesting thing would be if he really shows his personality in the way he writes his profile. I love it when a guy uses little stories about himself, or uses examples to illustrate what he means, etc.

Hmm...I think it would be the active walk that he has with God. I also like to see that a guy is involved in ministry on some level.
WHAT IS something that you look for when a guy messages you?
I look for something that gives me a reason to message him back. He might mention something that we have in common, or he might ask me a great question. A unique message is also good. Grammar and punctuation are also important to me. A message shouldn't be too long or too short, either. Actually, a good rule of thumb for my preferences would relate the message to his profile: if he has a long profile with lots of info, send a shorter message; it the profile is short and vague, send a longer message and include more info.
WHAT IS one thing that makes you want to smile every time you talk to a guy?
I'm not sure I understand the question! Probably I tend to smile when a guy tells me that he appreciated something I did, whether I did it specifically for him or not. But of course that would apply to younger guys, older guys, and married guys as well as single guys.

I love that I can talk to God about anything and everything, at any time. I don't have to request an audience with Him. I can just climb on His lap as his little girl and call Him Daddy.
