I enjoy pretty deep conversation at times, but I would like to think of this one as more of a poll.

Are you less inclined to return a guys message because he is not in your area?

I'm game as long as he's in the United States or Canada. Because of my proximity to the border, I'm actually more likely to be interested in a guy in BC than in the Eastern United States. If he lives south of the border or overseas, than I would send him an "I'm not interested" message, unless there was a VERY, VERY compelling reason not to...

I agree with Pixy, and answer most all messages from users in the U.S. and Canada, I would reply to senders from countries overseas if it seemed like they really put effort into writing me.

Haha, Rach. Thx. :P

I think I can be tough on myself at times. I guess that's what you get when you feel like a genie without a bottle.

I'll be praying the Lord helps you find your bottle, and that it comes with a really neat handwritten letter inside and a treasure map and yes, don't be so tough on yourself, Nathan.

Yes, I would be less inclined to respond to a message if the guy is not from my area. I'd consider someone within a day's drive, but farther than that probably wouldn't be practical. I'd most likely send the polite "We wouldn't make a good match" response. If I felt like the guy was especially interested (or interesting!), I might send a more personal response that explained my desire to find someone closer to my area.

Haha, thx Rach. I probably should have better clarified my sarcastic remark. I sometimes forget that people don't know what I mean when I say that.

When I say genie I really meant genius. Haha. I was referring to that fact that because I a so smart (and I am not trying to gloat or be proud, but I am aware od my capabilities.)

So my statement would be better summarized by saying because I am a smart guy I hold myself to a really, really high standard and I some feel like I don't have limits, but I have to remember I am human. haha.

I was not referring to having special powers and no girl to whoo. Haha.

bc, I think that's great of you to reply. I am sure are some that are out there that won't even reply.

I would not "go the distance" because my schedule is so packed this days and the cost of gas would be too much to handle.
