Admin	Appropriate and Acceptable "Good night" for those over 40?? Posted : 3 Apr, 2011 04:53 PM Scenario: you just had a wonderful 1st or 2nd date. Conversation flowed all night. Very comfortable evening. Good food, fun and fellowship. Good chemistry but not necessarily sparks. But would go out with him again. What do you expect for that moment of "good night"? A handshake? a hug? A kiss on the cheek? Or just a light tender quick kiss? What do you think is appropriate and acceptable as a Godly woman? Really would like your input! Thanks! Post Reply

I'd say a hug, at the most a quick peck on the cheek. A kiss on the lips would seem too much, even after a couple of dates, and a handshake would make me feel like we just got out of a business meeting. Just my perspective. Post Reply

An older, wiser man should know that opening that door is a great risk to keeping evryone's virtue intact. I have no strict set of rules, we can go with the flow, it should just come much later (closer to marriage, like after engagement) in the relationship. Post Reply
