Five Things I Wish Everyone Knew (Variation). . .

Inspired by Cattywampus' topic where everyone listed 5 things they wished everyone knew about themselves.

In this topic you list five things you wish everyone knew (not about yourself).

For example.

Five things I wish everyone knew . . .

1. Han shot first.

2. Spiders are not insects (this comes from a long time Scattergories debate with my sister lol).

3. America was intended to be a Constitutional Republic not a Democracy.

4. The song "Puff the Magic Dragon" is not about marijuana, but about childhood innocence lost.

5. Jesus is Lord (No one else is allowed to use this one . . . its obvious and its mine :=P).

1. A 'Stop' sign means Stop, it doesn't mean roll and stop, it doesn't mean continue going if you're sure there's no cars and no one looking. It means "STOP."

2. White is white, off-white is off-white, cream colored is cream colored.

3. It's rude and slightly invasive to ask for someone's phone number the first time you talk.

4. Texting, though it is fast and easy doesn't make up for talking face to face, or on the phone.

5. Music, everyone likes it, and likes listening to it, but if it's all you can talk about it can get really boring, really fast.

Maybe this was all a bit roughly said, but I completely wish everyone knew this.

Rachel

By the way, IaoKim, I wish everyone knew Jesus was Lord as well.

I have been guilty of your number 1 MsMarvel. In fact it was the reason I failed my first driving test for my license. In my defense the tester failed everyone who tested with her.

I have since seen the error of my ways :)

Haha, well if that's all maybe your errors are few. I'm glad you don't plan on plowing into innocent pedestrians.

(Sorry, feeling a bit on the sassy side today.)

How are you?

It's ok I can take it as well as dish it out when the situation calls for it :-P

And well I probably have at least a few more erroneous ways I still need to work on . . . haha

Overall I am well save for the booming speakers coming from the floor below . . . something I will soon rectify with my neighbors!

How art thou? :)

1. Mennonite is NOT the same as Amish. I have a computer, a car, don't speak Pennsylvania Dutch, no beard, and don't mind if people take my picture.

2. Nuclear power is really quite safe. New designs for plants are much better and honestly, who could plan for a huge earthquake AND a tsunami?

3. You have a turn signal and it has a purpose.

4. If you perceive a problem with something, and no one is willing to take the lead and fix it, stop complaining and put the mantle on your shoulders already.

5. I know you are enjoying your music but if it is so loud that I can hear the bass through my walls as you drive by on the street, it is probably too loud.

I really just wanted to throw out number 1 so I'm not so sure the others are pertinent.

(All of these facts are true, or else made up.)

1. Sahara means desert, so dont call it the Sahara desert.

2. A woman who uses the username princess may actually think she is one.

3. Sirius is the skys brightest star!

4. The opposite of two is minus two.

5. And if you have a horse wear his horse shoes backwards, people will still be able to know which direction you went long after you are gone by seeing which direction the ground is kicked up from. Thus, the old story of Terrell and Rufus the Red may have some errors? :goofball:

Oh, I will participate on this one.

1: It is very hard not to make a full "STOP" at a stop sign in a manual care.

2: Google is the best spell check you can use. http://www.google.com/search?sourceid=chrome&ie=UTF-8&q=aprpately

3: This website might allow you to use html in the messages and I am testing that now.

4: You can create a nice website completely for free if you know how.

5: Apple's new Final Cut (Video editing software) premiered Tuesday the 12th of April.

'Ambulance Driver' is NOT a real job title.

Medicare/Medicaid is the ultimate fleecing of America. (don't take that at face value, it goes much deeper than that)

Ten pounds of flour would make a really big buscuit. ;)

Patricia Cornwell is an awesome author.

"Pigeons got a bad wrap." -Mike Tyson on Jimmy Fallon right now. ;)
