A Conversation with God!

By Walter Diaz

Heavenly Father,.

YES DAUGHTER?

I come to you asking for a godly mate!

OK.WHAT ARE YOU REALLY SEEKING?

What do you mean?

WELL YOU HAVE BEEN PRAYING FOR THIS FOR SOME TIME NOW

Yes I have and with tears and not knowing why you are taking so long to answer this prayer?!

I HAVE MY REASONS WHY IT HAS NOT BEEN ANSWERED AS YET

Which are?

PERHAPS I SHOULD LET YOU FIGURE OUT THE REASONS FOR YOURSELF. LETS EXAMINE YOUR PRAYER REQUEST FOR A GODLY MATE

Ok

TELL ME WHAT EXACTLY YOU ARE LOOKING FOR

Well I want him to be good looking and in great shape

WHY?

Well.because I am good looking, have a great body and I feel I deserve the same!

YES YOU ARE GOOD LOOKING BUT NOT BECAUSE YOU HAD ANYTHING TO DO WITH IT. I MADE YOU THAT WAY SO ITS NOT SOMETHING YOU CAN SAY YOU EARNED. BESIDES YOU ARE STILL STRUGGLING WITH VANITY. NO ONE DESERVES ANYTHING BUT WHEN THEY RECEIVE SOMETHING GOOD FROM ME ITS BECAUSE OF MY GOOD GRACES.

Ok Father that hurt. I am not sure if I like doing this.

THE TRUTH CAN OFTEN HURT ESPECIALLY WHEN WE HAVE BEEN IGNORING IT.

I see your point.

GO ON,CONTINUE WITH YOUR REQUEST.

Well I want him to be successful and be able to provide, have a nice home and new cars and I want to travel and see the world with him.

HOLD ON HERE! I NEVER SAID THAT I WOULD EVER GRANT THAT.

Yes you did Father. You state in your word that you will grant me my hearts desires!

YES.I DID SAY THAT. BUT YOU ARE MISUNDERSTANDING WHAT THAT MEANS AND THE PRINCIPLES BEHIND IT. YOU NEED TO FIRST STOP LISTENING TO THOSE PROSPERITY GOSPEL PREACHERS AND STUDY MY WORD FOR YOURSELF AND LOOK INTO THE DEPTHS OF THE MEANING OF WHAT I SAY.

Okso what does that mean then?.

FOR ME TO GRANT YOU YOUR HEARTS DESIRES YOU FIRST HAVE TO BE RIGHT WITH ME AND YOUR HEART MUST BE SEEKING FOR THOSE THINGS THAT ARE NOT SELFISH, NOT SELF SERVING.

Ouch.so I am not walking right with you?

NOYOU ARE NOT! LOOK AT WHAT YOU ARE SEEKING SO FAR..THINGS THE WORLD SEEKS AFTER. I NEVER PROMISED YOU WEALTH OR A NICE HOME AND NEW CARS OR A GOOD LOOKING HUNK WITH A GREAT BODY OR EVEN THAT HIS CAREER IS PRESTIGIOUS. THAT IS VANITY AND SHALLOWNESS!

YOU SEE MY DAUGHTER, ONE OF THE PROBLEMS IS THAT YOU ARE SPOILED AND DO NOT APPRECIATE WHAT IS REALLY IMPORTANT IN LIFE. WHAT DIFFERENCE DOES IT MAKE IF YOU HAVE A MAN WHO IS ALL THOSE THINGS YOU SEEK BUT CANNOT LOVE YOU LIKE YOU REALLY NEED TO BE LOVED AND WHO WILL NOT RESPECT YOU AND BE FAITHFUL TO YOU? LOOK AT PEOPLE WHO ARE POORREALLY POOR AND LOOK AT HOW THEY LOVE ONE ANOTHER AND YET HAVE NOTHING OF ANY REAL MATERIAL VALUE. LOOK AT THE HEBREWS IN THE OLD TESTAMENT. BY TODAYS WORLDLY STANDARDS THEY LIVED IN POVERTY YET THEIR JOY WAS FULL AND THEY WERE HAPPY. THEY LIVED IN TENTS AND CAVES.

Good points Father..I guess I need to re-evaluate my desires and what really is important in life!

YES.BUT YOU ARE NOT FINISHED YET.

Oh great.so theres more I need to work on!

YESSO PLEASE CONTINUE WITH YOUR REQUEST AND TRY TO FOCUS ON THE MORE IMPORTANT QUALITIES.

OkwellI want him to be a good Christian man but I dont want him to be some fanatic either.

INTERESTING! SO YOU WANT HIM TO BELIEVE IN ME AND MY SON JESUS BUT YOU DONT WANT HIM TO REALLY LOVE ME.

Wait a minute FatherI didnt say I didnt want him to not love you and Jesus!

YES YOU DID BUT YOU DIDNT REALIZE IT. YOU SEE MY DAUGHTER I SEEK THOSE WHO ARE PASSIONATE FOR ME AND JESUS. TO LOVE SOMEONE YOU HAVE TO BE PASSIONATE. WOULD YOU WANT A HUSBAND WHO WAS NOT PASSIONATE FOR YOU?! YOU SEE TO LOVE SOMEONE MEANS YOU HAVE PASSION FOR THEM. REAL PASSION! DO YOU REMEMBER WHAT MY SON SAID IN REVELATION?

Nobut I am sure you are going to tell me.

YES.HERE IS WHAT HE SAID TO A CHRISTIAN CHURCH. Revelation 3: 15 "I know your works, that you are neither cold nor hot. I could wish you were cold or hot.

16 So then, because you are lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will vomit you out of My mouth."

YOU SEE MY DAUGHTER A LUKEWARM CHRISTIAN IS DISGUSTING TO ME FOR THEY HAVE NO PASSION FOR ME. BEING HOT OR COLD ARE EXTREME TEMPERATURES. HOW CAN ANYONE SAY THEY LOVE ME WITH ALL THEIR HEART, MIND, SOUL AND STRENGTH AND YET NOT HAVE INTENSE PASSION FOR ME?! IT IS NOT EVEN POSSIBLE AND THEY ARE KIDDING THEMSELVES. NOW THINK ABOUT THIS. HOW CAN YOU REALLY LOVE A HUSBAND WHEN YOU DONT LOVE ME AS YOU SHOULD?!

WowFatherI feel so ashamed. I see now that I have been just casual in my relationship with you and Jesus and lack the passion I should have. Please forgive me Father and help me grow to be passionate.to be really in love with you and Jesus.

NOW YOU ARE GETTING IT. OF COURSE YOU ARE FORGIVEN.

But what about a mate for me?

FIRST THINGS FIRST MY CHILD. Matthew 6:33 "But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you."

I think Walter made some good points. We can be rather shallow in our desires for a mate, eh? But we must empty our own wills out daily in exchange for His perfect will. Glorifying Him must be our #1 priority.

Pixy,

You got it. It's so simple but yet others choose to be critical and not see the meaning of things. Perhaps they are critical because it hits too close to home and it makes them feel uncomfortable.

Blessings!

Walter

Walter My Friend...My Brother.

Am I to assume that from now on when you criticize The Catholic Church it is because "it hits too close to home"?

My friend...this post of your's has it's merits and valid points. It is just that I feel it could have been made in a more "Loving" way. One that wasn't so condescending (i.e. displaying a patronizingly superior attitude).

I mean the woman was so "Duh?" and God came across as a little "impatient". I feel that God would show a lot more patience and Loving Understanding...you did that with your kids...didn't you?

Perfect Love

Everyone longs to give themselves completely to someone-

To have a deep soul relationship with another-

Be loved thoroughly, and exclusively.

But God, to a Christian, says:

I want you to be satisfied, fulfilled, and content

With being loved by Me alone-

With giving yourself totally and unreservedly to Me-

With having an intensely personal and unique relationship

With Me alone.

Discovering that only in Me is your satisfaction to be found,

Will you be capable of the best human relationship

That I have planned for you.

I want you to be united with another after you are united with Me-

Exclusive of anyone or anything else,

Exclusive of any other desires or longings.

I want you to stop planning, stop wishing,

And allow Me to give you the most thrilling plan existing-

One that you cannot imagine.

I want you to have the best-

Please allow Me to bring it to you.

You just keep watching Me, trusting Me-

Keep experiencing the satisfaction that I am.

Keep listening and learning the things I tell you.

You just wait.

That's all.

Don't be anxious.

Don't worry.

Don't look around at the things

Others have gotten or that I've given them.

Don't look at the things you think you want.

You just keep looking off and up to Me,

Or you'll miss what I want to show you.

And then, when you're ready, I'll surprise you with a love

Far more wonderful than any you would dream of.

You see, until you are ready and until the one I have for you is ready,

(I am working even at this moment to have both of you ready at the same time),

Until you are both satisfied exclusively with Me and the life I prepared for you,

You won't be able to experience the love that exemplifies your relationship with me.

And this is the perfect love.

And dear one, I want you to have the most wonderful love.

I want you to see in the flesh a picture of your relationship with Me,

And to enjoy materially and concretely the everlasting union of beauty, perfection, and love

That I offer you with Myself.

Know that I love you utterly.

I am God.

Believe and be satisfied.

I agree with you on" First seek god's kingdom". I have a few problems though with your writing style. When we speak in general of our sisters and brothers and make God seem like an alter ego of your's explaining your opinion is very fleshley and self centered.

We should never limit God nor make him sound like our opinions.

How do you know what trials and tribulation many on this site have gone through?

Yet you call us spoiled. I am beginning to think you have a problem with women and you are manifesting it through your writing.

To make it sound like God is "blasphemous". Should you not convey the idea of spending more time with God in a gentler more encouraging way. God knows all of us struggle enough with out discouragement placed in a advice column.

Psalm72,

Perhaps you should look at the greater depths of the message instead of your personal critical perception of my writing style.

The fact is that American women in general are very spoiled and many Christian women have succumb to materialism.( I am not excluding men) It is increasing all the time. They have an attitude that they "deserve" certain things. But it should be no surprise as Christ Jesus made it clear that in the last days the majority of Christians love towards God would wax cold.[Mat 24:10-13.] Paul said that the majority of Christians would fall away from the faith and commit Apostasy which is a forfeiture of their salvation. [2Thess 2:3.; 1Tim4:1]

How many Christian women would willingly lower their standard of living in life to be with a truly godly man? How many Christian women pass up genuine opportunities for real love with a godly man all because his income is not to their expectations or he did not own a home or had the ability to travel often or had a prestigious career? OR... how about the Christian women who will not date a man because he will not have sex before marriage? I could go on. What's the point? It seems that more and more people would rather be critical of a person than examine the depths of the meaning of things. I grow weary of this site.

In Christ,

Walter

Yes Walter

How many CHRISTIAN women actually would pass up genuine oportunities for real love with a godly man all because his income is not to their expectations or he did not own a home or had the ability to travel often or had a prestigious career, as you stated in your previous post?

Let me make it easy for you.

Why dont you come with hard figures about the quantity of the above described women in the CDFF community?

You address yourself towards these women but when they reply you prove to be hyper sensitive.

So how many christian women as described above, there are on this site?

Numbers and facts please.

Thank you

Yes many persons in the world are materialistic. Both men & women. It is a shame that people thirst & lust over "Things". But there are persons in the world that are not of this world & things they can get & have...Some persons are so totally focused on God/Jesus that they rarely "Want" for anything an We all know that God will always take care of our needs...

I must say here that I will not lower my Standards concerning a potential mate....But most Men here have no clue as to what those standards are......F.Y.I. ta all...I really dont care what he does for livin or how much $ he brings home. Ima more concerned with where His heart is an if He really LOVES the LORD with all of HIS Heart...xo

P.S....Hang in there Walter...I know you will disagree with me fer sayin this...but...God does have someone for you...Luv ya Brother....xo
